It's actually not power he needs. He needs good defense, good attacking weapons (throwing your hands rapidly as seen in a video game does not make you talented.), be more strategic and study opponents to have areas where he can capitalize and then improve on fitness. If he can do all this then sky is the limit for him in this game

Lucas is a much experienced boxer at the big stage. Ajose doesn't have enough power like Lucas, but would have been gr8 using more jabs to keep Lucas at bay, while apply upper cuts when in closer rang, during some exchanges. Then his inability to properly shield himself as well as size & weight difference made the difference. But in all it was a very interestingly good fight, with a dose of biased commentary.

The only problem with ajose is the technique in throwing his punches. Flapping your punches aint gonna give it power and opponent just gonna walk through you. The right hook was there all day from southpaw stance but you kept on flapping it instead of turning your knuckles into the hook. Matise would havr felt the power and relaxed with the pressure. Great fight overall

This is real fight! The kind every fan want to see. However, at the end of the day, its about who wins. This is where strategy comes in, and in-game evolution. As the fight progressed, Ajose ought to have adapted to what his opponent was bringing. Rather, he stuck with his original plan- offensive, all out. Ajose only needed to be more defensive than he was- using hand guard to protect himself- to win this bout. Definitely, if we reverse this and Mathysse took those number of punches Ajose took, the fight would have ended in Round 4.

Ajose doesn't have foot work. He allowed Matisse to box him closed to the rope. The rope would definitely restrict his movement. No hand guard. His right hand is very weak. His opponent noticed it and kept blocking the left. Ajose wasn't throwing opportunity punches. Matttissi usually guard up and allow Ajose to expend his energy throwing useless jabs then he will move him to the corner to restrict his movement and then pound on him. I think his coach needs to work on him. Ajose has strength and endurance but doesn't have skills and quick understanding of his opponent.
