I also would love to sign Sabitzer and Sanches. If we sell Kane,Sissoko,Winks,Dele,Sanchez,Dier and Aurier we should have the money (i guess we would get 220-260mil) to get all those over the line, they should cost us around 200-250 mil.

Eric Dier has no idea what he's doing at CentreBack, and neither have I. When you have Clive Allen, a striker, explaining the absolute basics of defending for both goals, you know we're in trouble. We desperately need another genuine CB (in addition to Romero) and a CB/RB. We were practically non-existent in their final third. Moura's very lucky deflection flattered us, and a very busy Gollini kept us in the game. If we don't buy defenders soon, we are getting slaughtered in the Premier League, starting with Man City...next weekend!! 😱 As Expressions would say, "Shocking bruv; shocking fam; dem way dere!"

Lucas was an absolute arrow this game and has been for the whole of the preseason. He has the pace and dribbling for playing in the wings and the finishing for playing no.9. He and bergwin are going to be valuable this season.And our defense was dreadful yet again, but I'm sure with Romero and tomiyasu looking like done deals, defense shouldn't be our matter of concern I they perform well. Could be nice if we can also get milenkovic and go for Martinez.Plus it would've been nice to have Toby around. He still did good last season , and although Romero and tomiyasu are good defenders, it would've been nice to have some experience in the back.Id say today was an ok performance. Up front everyone except dele looked good, guess it's his shakiness against big teams. Still not champions league level though.

Very happy with the fight/ commitment last night. I watched the full 90 mins last night & have now watched the highlights again. For me Eric Dier has to do better with both goals, especially the first goal we conceded. When Zyhiech picked the ball up in so much space, Eric backed off. He should have engaged with him and put a tackle in. It was far too easy and poor defending. We have to do better in those situations.

@@cjben-rs7ml well the fundamentals of passing in rondo(triangle). it was terrible. Teammates should help the possession player to pass with options A,B,C,D. A: pass teammates with approachable space. B. approach the teammates to create and disturb the space. C. to dribble pass 1 player. D. Long pass. You can see when dele has no one to pass, so he just shoot in the middle for no reason xD.

Da fuq are you on about? He was tracking Werner's run for the first goal and clearly told Tanganga to shut down Ziyech, which Tanganga was too slow to do. If Dier plays on Ziyech, Werner runs free and scores - and you'd be saying, 'Oh Dier didn't pick-up Werner wah wah wah'. The second goal he at least got a block in but was unlucky to concede a deflection. All this Dier hate is getting old and tiresome - I'm not a huge fan of his either but if you're gonna critique someone at least know what you're talking about.
