I don’t hate the show, actually I love it. Not for the writing or acting but because it’s a part of my childhood. Growing up I watched the master piece that is boy meets world. And while I know this one isn’t even close to boy meets world in how good it is, I still like it. It teaches the next generation some important lessons (in a very Disney way). I agree completely. Boy meets world was never really a kids show besides maybe the first season but from then on even in season 2 there’s plenty of sex jokes and mature themes that a Disney show couldn’t even speak of. It just wasn’t the right fit. I also don’t even think the actors were bad it just feels like if they had more freedom and everyone knew they wanted for the characters it would have been better because it feels didn’t know what to do with maya and sometimes farkle in my opinion
