Don’t reply to fake spam messages pretending to be me, saying you won a guitar and things like that. If I respond to a message you will see the verified check mark.

I don't know whether this was a real message from Lucas, because there was nothing there on telegram, but either way I do not want or need a reward for expressing my unbridaled enthusiasm for your consistently brilliant musicianship and your creative video ideas, which is enough of a gift for which you have my gratitude and respect. Your musicianship is extraordinary, However, that being said, you need to up your game in terms of production value. The sound quality, recording and engineering do not do your playing justice. If you watch Stephanie Jones videos, not only is her playing world class, but the sound quality and production value serve as an excellent support that honors the level of her virtuosity and you should do the same.

@@ericgendell8874 You are showing disrespect to the man telling him his brilliance is not good enough because the midtones are not tuned to your dog hearing pitch sense or hi fidelity which is such utter nonsense if you know anything about monaural mp3 and its high compression ratio and limited sound range, you are just a sucker for lots of presence and reverb switches. You're playing at a ludicrous level. An interpretation like this deserves to be put on an album.
@mangiari Жыл бұрын
This is one critique I have with your videos Lucas: I really like the music your playing, I also like the comedy you are doing, but I typically would not watch a comedy like that multiple times. But I'd listen to your music a thousand of times. I'll be the first one to spend money on a proper album of yours. Just spent an ridiculous amount of money for some of your shirts (because of sending to Germany including customs...). PLEASE RECORD AN ALBUM! For me the sound quality of your youtube videos is totally fine. No fancy pro studio required. You could also just upload the 20 most liked "but it's jazz" videos in a music-only version with the whole song from the first to the last note.
@JoshGUITARofolo2 жыл бұрын
This isn't the first time one of your videos left me feeling like Antonio Salieri listening to Mozart for the first time. The way you reharmonize and basically reinvent some of my favorite tunes is so next-level. I can't tell whether I'm more jealous or inspired.
@matthewrice75902 жыл бұрын
This is what it’s all about. I’ve noticed quite a few videos about this song from popular guitar KZbinrs with titles like “hardest riff ever?!”, “impossible to play!” (based on your video’s title and what your “dumb” character says early in the video, I’m thinking maybe this was the inspiration?), where they basically just show off the fact that they can play the riff with *almost* the same verve as the original artist. I’m glad that people enjoy that stuff, but ultimately it’s nothing you couldn’t get from a guitar tab and a video of John Mayer playing it himself. You, on the other hand, bring something entirely new to the table and take it to a place where it could truly be considered impossible to play for 99.99% of guitarists, along with a healthy dose of your weird sense of humor. This is why your content will always be the pinnacle of “guitar KZbin” in my humble opinion.

With every successive video you release, you blow my mind even farther. I don’t listen to “pop” and I’m not familiar with the Jon Meyer tune….but in my opinion I don’t think that Meyer could play it as you do. I’m an old guy….been a working pro since 1964, got a masters in music but now 76 and semi-retired. You are consistently the most enjoyable player on KZbin. Both aesthetically and technically, you’re a monster on the guitar plus some of your comical bits are creative and funny…..especially to someone who wasted a lot of hours as a shill for the booze. Keep it up. Both my wife and I do our bit on line to promote you and your music whenever we can.
