He's not a legend. He's being human. By showing compassion, wanting to understand why she feels as she does, and having an open mind. He doesn't want to change her. He doesn't want her to change her way of thinking. He wants the freedom, to let her be who she is, and wants the same in return. In the end, they showed a mutual respect. This, is common sense.

This is why its important for both sides to listen. She came in with presumptions about his beliefs. He was allowed to explain his position and she came to realize in certain circumstances that she agrees with him. I'm gay myself and I totally understand were Vivek is coming from. I never subscribed to the LGBT label. Its not necessary. I'm gay and that's it. I never felt the need to parade around and turn my sexuality into something it doesn't need to be. My sexuality has never made me a victim. Once you put yourself into a box with a label you are doomed. I genuinely feel for trans people as I know what its like to feel different. But on that note, when it comes to our children, if they say they are trans, its important to listen and help guide them and help them understand why surgeries before adulthood cannot be an option. This country need a complete overhaul of mental health. Therapist should not be affirming gender but rather guiding youth on how to cope and be comfortable with who they were born as and the bodies that nature gave them. You can't say I just want to be myself and then want to chop things off. Thats contradictory. America we just all need to understand each other better by engaging in conversation without letting our emotions get the best of us.

Both Vivek and this lady use the term Transgender, implying transition from one biological gender identity into another. But that never happens. Science not only allows us to understand transsexualism, but science predicts it. Gender identity, a completely biological phenomena, is not based on one's anatomical sex traits, instead, it is based on prenatal neurological development, completely independent of anatomical development. ===FREE EDUCATION HERE===== Understanding genetics allows us to understand how a person with FEMALE XX gender can be born with a penis, and a MALE XY gender can be born with a vagina. Don't fool yourself and think you will immediately understand the significance of this information; understanding this information requires cognitive ability and training. Education requires effort. Special case of a Dissociation Between the Karyotype and Phenotype During the meiotic division in a man, a reciprocal translocation of the SRY gene can occur following the coupling of the homologous X and Y chromosomes. Thereby the SRY gene gets onto the X chromosome by a reciprocal exchange. When the oocyte is fertilized there are then 4 possibilities: A zygote with a ... female XX genotype and a feminine phenotype (typical) female XX genotype and a masculine phenotype (SRY translocated onto the X)

I went thru the same crap in my teens. The men in my family always got put on a pedestal and I could never amount to them no matter what I did. And with the whole 'if you cant beat them, join them' mentality I grew up with, when I went to a doctor (a pediatrician) to ask for help, she just said 'good for you, here is an email address you can email and they can get you started'. Didn't recommend I talk to someone about it, her or otherwise, just so I knew what would happen, and if I was in the right state of mind. My parents weren't even contacted, I wasn't even 18 at that time. It was like picking out a meal in a fast food place. 'you want #6, okay anything else?'. Even now its still is going on (not the trans thing, I finally accepted myself for who I am and I love me), and when I get accomplishments in my life (constant awards in University, Just got an internship in my field of study, I'm the smartest person in the room ask me anything.) I don't share it cause it will be outshined by my brother who knows how to set up an apple phone. Even he gets pissed when they constantly go to him for help when I am standing right there, and just as capable.
@realAnimepfp5 ай бұрын
how did you get over it, if i may ask?
@lucarich87115 ай бұрын
@@realAnimepfp Of course you may ask, I hope this isn't TMI. It was a long process that took almost a decade. I had to rediscover my masculinity. It might sound silly but doing things that are stereotyped as masculine helped my healing, like learning how to use tools and work out. Running, parkour and weightlifting played a huge role. My body somehow naturally knew how to bring out the inner man that never grew up. I can't thank my body enough because my mind could never do it. Another huge part was receiving affirmations from older men, father figures if you wanna call them that. The reasons I was trapped from childhood into believing I was meant to be born a woman was something I discovered slowly into my adulthood. Ultimately, it's part of an enormous web of CPTSD, so involves other things than just my intense feelings of femininity, but also depression, addiction, loneliness, shame and mistrust. It mainly comes down to my father neglecting and abandoning me as a toddler, and my extremely sensitive nature. I am what you would call an HSP. My HSP hasn't changed, I've just learned how to be sensitive and emotional and be a man at the same time. I feel as manly as a John Wayne character, but I can still cry like a fire hydrant if I get triggered. Also, and I don't recommend this to everyone, especially because so many Christians are against it, but having an experience with psilocybin mushrooms was a major factor in my healing and coming to accept myself. Mushrooms also helped lead me out of agnosticism and back to Christ. I still struggle with a lot of problems because I was severely f***ed up as a kid, but God has delivered me from a lot. He delivered me from gender dysphoria, he delivered me from anger and violence, and he delivered me from chronic lying.

As an almost 60 year old man who was BORN attracted to the same sex, I really resent all these other psychological disorders being lumped in with the way I was biologically born. They are in no way, shape or form related to being born gay. When I was coming up, a person was straight, gay or bi. There WAS transgender, but it was a totally separate thing and category.
@melkam6476 ай бұрын
But how are they different? They are all either debauchery or people embracing how they "feel," depending on how you look at this. Pick one side. You can't ride both. You can't be for G/L and then against T in the same breath. You are either for both or against both.
@retroguy94946 ай бұрын
@@melkam647 Debauchery is a religious term, NOT a scientific one. Just like in a court of law, 'insanity' is a legal term, not a medical one. They are different because scientifically, a person is BORN attracted to the same sex. It's biological. It has nothing to do with how a person 'feels' but rather what they ARE. No matter what anyone tells you, it cannot be changed. Saying that you were born the wrong sex or all of this 'fluidity' is a psychological disorder. A person is not BORN that way but rather becomes that way due to a number of external factors. Which is why, unlike being gay, many of these other people can be helped with intense psychotherapy. I'ts not a mental illness but rather an emotional psychological abnormality.
@achillesglacia77006 ай бұрын
worse is their delusional campaign to then turn the tables and say well if youre straight youre abnormal, lets face it, thats what theyre doing now!, theyve taken active steps to indoctrinatre children, "grooming" into their lifestyle choices. theyre trying to turn kids who are not afflicted with these issues into a stte of thinking where they want to be gay or lesbian. theyre saying now, that if youre not coloured, youre just a priviledged bully, if youre not a woman (mind you they dont agree if you call them woman, but they claim to be women when they speak of power, then nongender when it comes to sex) youre not in touch with reality. i think vivek is campaigning, hes being very casual here, because these things constitute felonies and serious criminal offences, and these people need to be dealt with and sent to jail for their predatory crimes, they are terrorists.

Agree! And as a young person who is around these social circles, Im going to hijack your top comment to explain what is really going on here: Young kids who are into alternative media (anime and alt music) are bullied by traditional jocks. These bullied kids gravitate towards being friends with kids who are a part of the LGB community, because the LGB community is immensely compassionate and wont bully them. These alt kids were straight, but their new compassionate friends are gay or bi, and they now look up to those gay people as role models. They want to be just like them and become very confused. This is how they become trans. There are some children who are genuinely born trans, but what we are seeing right now is a huge mental illness outbreak brought on by the combination of bullying, social media access and early LGB acceptance. I say "early" because today, a lot of LGB people want absolutely nothing to do with the trans movement, because they recognize it as exactly what I have described above. These people arent really trans. I have a shemale brother (legitimately born trans, tiddies and ween with no surgeries) and his issues have been incredibly disenfranchised by these people. This is a random number, but Id say about 75% of the kids I graduated high school with that were into anime and alt music ended up identifying as some kind of gender fluid trans person despite giving no indication of being so at any point in their lives prior. We can all tell when someone is in the closet. They were not. These people have brainwashed themselves into thinking they have a problem.

I disagree. It was probably a very emotional topic for her and at the end she came to the conclusion that there is a middle ground and agreed on something. I don't think many other LGBT+ people do that, so she is a lot better than most of the people I've seen.

She was quick to leave as soon as he said something she disagreed with instead of listening to the whole thing before flipping him off and attempting to leave. They both agreed and felt more or less the same way, but she seemed to used to being belittled or stepped on that she started off on the offense right away, and only in the end did she realize his point. Some people simply refuse to listen unless you agree with everything they say.

She starts with "LGBTQ" as a question. She states that LGBTQ is a "serious situation in the world today" followed by "there are children being bullied." Then the question: "What is your stance on LGBTQ?" She sniggers when Vivek calls LGBTQ a "faith." There is evidence for that. She proceeds to lose her calm when Vivek states his opinion on Trans and then walks away. Opposing opinions challenge or threaten her LGBTQ faith. Finally, she shakes her head when he says there my be something going wrong in a Trans child's life.

This is the problem with voting. Most people are ignorant and a few of those people are even mentally ill. But they get to dictate how the rest of the people must live. If that is not deeply disturbing, I dont know what is.

Vivek runs a master class in patience, listening, and discourse. He educates others of his views (whether they agree or disagree) so they know 1. he heard their concerns, 2. he understands the issue in a similar or dissimilar way, and 3. why he believes what he believes. It's a phenomenal skillset of a leader. If there is anything positive from this Presidential race is knowing a person like Vivek exists and how he conducts himself.

This is the only candidate acting presidential. He's the only one who has really done so since Obama (like him or not). The sad thing is, though, I really don't believe his presidential run will make it anywhere. Either way, he has my support and I hope for the best.

While I agree with you, I have to say that even Obama (the snake in the grass) held his own and wooed millions into voting for him because of talking talents. But, what do we really know about Vivek? Has anyone even tried to do a deep dive on his business and personal life? That will tell you a lot about who he (or any other politician) really is. When we dont do research on candidates we seem to like, we take everything at face value and then get screwed when we vote for them and they turn out to be shit. Dont make those same mistakes, friends! Do the real deep dive research on candidates you seem to like. I will be doing a deep dive on Vivek because I do like how he has been handling himself on this campaign, but anyone can pick up the Trump mantle and run with it till the heat gets too hot. But Vivek seems to be holding the course, so I will give him that. For what its worth, I only do deep dive research on candidates I do like! So that should tell you something. However, I will be voting for Trump again as he has proven himself in many ways. If Vivek checks out on the research, I would like to see him on Trumps cabinet or maybe even VP. I think he will need to prove himself in DC before he is even ready to be a president. Hopefully, Trump gives him that chance to be a part of his team.
