Thanks for a dose of the Bird. Good to see Drew in action. Not sure how others would react but I'd love to see some more of the locals mixed in the future. Some killer women on that mtn, World Cup skiers, some of the Bird athletes, ripping race team kids etc. Oh, the patrol staff Tina etc. Lot's of fun to be had.

Miss some days like that at the Bird, mid-winter is usually better snow but the coverage is so variable it is hard to know what you'll face.

Dude you need to get a pair of Declivity 102s for days like this. I daily the Declivity 102 at Alta, have the 92 for spring or firm days, and your videos convinced me to buy a pair of ARV 116 JJs for pow days. I know you love the ARV series but the Declivity line is an absolute game changer when conditions aren’t ideal. I’m an Armada fan for life thanks to you!
@adamhansen88056 ай бұрын
Hey I'm thinking about picking up some declivities! What do you like about them more than the ARV series? I have a pair of 106s and white walkers. I love the whitewalkers because they're light and poppy which seems similar to the declivity series.
@LucasCatania176 ай бұрын
Definitely want to give the declivitys a shot someday!
@cameronmasters61876 ай бұрын
@@adamhansen8805 the Declivitys are amazing. Especially in the 102, they have a good amount of tip rocker so in days up to about 6 inches deep they are fine. The tails are somewhat flat, and the titanal stringers run the full length of the ski, so it grips and carves an edge incredibly well. They have so much energy in an out of turns and are really flickable, especially for a ski with metal. I bought a used pair of ARW 106s this season to try out but ended up selling because they are so similar to the 116s. The Declivity series is similar but less smeary. They reward leaning them over and railing a turn, but are agile and fun on piste, in the trees, anywhere. Love them.
