It’s weird, I probably would never have related to this film when I was a teenager. Now I’m 30 I sorta can, it triggers a motion of self-reflection over my own teenage life. All the joys, sadness, first love, first time love making, hostile break ups, heartache. When I said this I only knew 2 songs from the Arctic Monkeys, now I've listened to them more and although the Submarine soundtrack is still my favorite they are very good and Alex Turner is evidently very talented.
