Something I also consider when using np on a unit is “can beat the stage I’m stuck on, or future stages, without the talent?” That way I have enough saved NP to get a talent for a cat when I REALLY should talent it. I haven’t had housewife savage blow for the longest time until Aku Realms.

I recommend players to exchange proc units for np like units with slow, freeze, knockback, weaken, etc. What you should keep is units with massive dmg, insane dmg, long range, strong against, strengthen, etc.

Funny story about not selling new units. Right at the very start of my gameplay, I got a juliet (and a bunch of others). Now I haven’t even like completed eoc1 yet p sure, and I was like ok. Selling her gives me like, 500k xp. Which is a fuck ton. And all she does is freeze angels which I do not have to worry about. So I sold her. Till today I haven’t gotten a second one. (155 hours in, not the most but yeah). But if I’m going to be honest, it helped a lot in the early game because 500k is a lot and allowed me to level my units up nicely.

Generally I go by the same rule for selling by xp If they do not benefit from + levels then sell for np Also if they are at the level limit then sell. I am farming for 11.1 since basics double np given.

I manage my NP by selling Debuffers, they are only there to assist croud-control but they aren’t generalists, so I mostly keep Cats for example: Can Can Cat, Pizza Cat, Seafarer Cat etc. and I sell Cats for example: Dread Pirate Catley, iCat, Weedwacker Cat etc. If I get a duplicate Uber I sell it, but I wouldn’t sell a duplicate Legend Rare or Epic/Uberfest exclusive (for the cursedness) Selling Normals and Talent Orbs is a bad idea, since both of them only give you 1 NP so I’drecommend first getting all Normals to +90 If you read everything until arriving here good job

I like this guide as it is neutral for pretty much everyone's choices and leave them room to decide. However, despite all of that, I still have one thing to disagree with this. It's about Matador. Although she's a rare unit that provides only 5 NP, that doesn't mean she benefits that much from stat boost. Matador is actually an RNG-based meatshield for aku enemies so it's quite pointless to boost her with +level (I don't mind the cateyes usage though). But yeah it's just my two cents about this. P.S. Whale version chart when Edit: I am aware that matador has a decent hp boost to the point that lv 50 matador can survive a hit from 200% fallen bear but this is actually pointless in aku realm (which is the main domain of aku enemies). But this doesn't change the fact that she's too situational to be used as your main choice (aku in UL are mostly mixed stages so I expect her to feed).

I also agree with Tung in this case. Matador mostly relied on Dodge effect and Aku enemy hit pretty hard and mostly kill it in a second anyway. I feel like Boosted her to Lv50 with catseye is enough for her (enough to tank 1 hit from Akkuma in Mexico). I never use her again after Aku Cyclone because she require dream's luck to be OP and other unit can outclassed her anyway. Edit: Bruh Tung just edit the comment and write about Akkuma before me :(

The main reason why Matador is with the rest is mainly because of the 5np thing LOL, I am mega biased towards using rares. Besides, I'm not sure what you're expecting but in my head "use a bit" is basically "get it to like +10 max or something" (on an endgame scale), which in that case you're only losing 50np max. That's just around +3 on a SR in comparison. There's also factors of tanking surges from snaches or just stray hits from peons as well, it's hard to say there's a true standard minimum level when the dodges are activated through multiple differentiating peons

Also about Talent Orbs, if my math isn't wrong, you'd need 36 D lvl to get one S lvl, so if your goal is to cash them in for NP, don't fuse them and sell them if you got D or C lvl Orbs. But if you received a B lvl or above it might be worth to stack and fuse them to exchange them at lvl S.

I actually really like NP being a scarce thing. Maxing everything out through farming is kinda boring and it gets stale because every player would just have the same thing for everyone, but the scarcity means you need to make a choice, and each player's choices past the main core talents can be different

Personally I just sell units for NP based on how desperate I am for getting more NP lol. Like if I get a dupe weightlifter cat, but I’m a couple NP away from improving a certain cat unit’s talent, I’ll sell them. But if I have no plans to add a new talent to one of my cats, then I’ll just add whatever stat-based dupes I get to + levels although I still just sell all non stat-based units and uber/potential LR dupes for NP regardless of the situation

My personal rule for regular rare and super rare units is +10 on their level before exchanging for np. After that if it only serves as cc that's automatically for np, Stat based is mostly a lvl spent, and there is a grey area for cc units that are very impactful like sanzo

Hey glad I could help. If you ask anyone about talent orbs, chances are everyone will instantly say sell them. However I'd argue that the only truly ""useless"" talent orbs are Attack Up orbs because the way they work is janky. I can go more in depth but the TLDR is like Attack: Sell Ability: Use Defense: Keep unless you're desperate for NP

Honestly I np most of the uber dupes and any of the debuffers, otherwise use all. My rares like gunslinger are +1 but my cameraman and ramen just hit +30 and +29 respectively. I have been playing since launch and I have so many ubers to beat any stage that I can really just spend NP on whatever is fun. I don't need to be optimal with spending so if something fun comes around I get it.
