[From my dashcam] Seattle Police, Fire & EMS Responses #25 + quick channel update

I'm back! Sorry for the lack of uploads lately - you can see the reason for this at 2:58. I haven't had time to go out buffing, but I have been driving a lot and capturing responses on my dashcam.
Some highlights this time around include Ladder 5 responding in an old rear mount aerial (0:09), and a Port of Seattle police unit responding (0:42). My dad also grabbed some footage of units in Federal Way (2:40) on the scene of a motorcycle crash (thanks Dad!).

Wow, I got several things to say: 1. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! 2. funfact in connection with 1st: just yesterday I was thinking: "man, it's been a long time since the last video from Lucas, I wonder if they had their baby yet and that's the reason why".. well what should I say, maybe I should get a job as an oracle 😂😂😂 3. As always, great video! 4. Your dad seems to have a good camera and he takes good shots with it as well.. maybe he should get involved in the internet business if you know what I mean 5. You won't only have more time as the little guy grows up, I think you'll have the next generation of Fire/EMS/Police/... video maker right by your side when you're out filming 😁 6. When you've got the time again, can you please get more shots like the outro? Just driving on the Interstate or Highway at night, moderate traffic, Seattle skyline in the back, what a beautiful, relaxing shot 😍

Yep, I'm hoping the little one will be a firetruck fan as she gets older; I just have to get some ear protectors for her when we go out! Sweet man & all of the American Lafrances Engines are no longer in Use in the SFD and Sound like Aid 31 & 4 &14 don't why Aid 14 are going to be getting New Rigs

Thanks Pete! It'll be cool to see the new units when they're in service. I saw we're getting a bunch of new engines as well.

Why are they not going to be in use? Are they retiring them? Or using them for training?

@@djdave3472 They're all now about 2-3 generations behind. The ALFs got replaced by the E-ONE Cyclones which the last of are being replaced by the Pierce Enforcer/Arrow XTs which are being replaced by newer Enforcers 1995/96 E-One Protector -> 2000 E-One Cylone II -> 2003 American LaFrance Metropolitan -> 2006/07/08/09 E-One Cyclone II / E-One Quest -> 2013/14/15 Pierce Arrow XT -> 2017/18/19 Pierce Enforcer -> 2024 Pierce Enforcer (on order) The current ALFs are used as training, but would not be surprised if they are retired soon

Hey Lucas, I will be visiting in Seattle soon- which fire stations would you say are the busiest or best to visit/film at?

Awesome! I'd go with Stations 10, 2 and 25. They all tend to be pretty busy, although it can be really hit or miss depending on the calls.
