Mayor DeBlasio needs to have the DOT construct 1 emergency lane on every major road in all 5 boroughs because this is absolutely ridiculous. I must say great video bud!

Well I don't know how old you are but I remember that in the 70s and 80s they did have the middle lane painted in red that said " fire lane" that was meant for all emergency vehicles. I don't see them anymore they disappeared I don't know exactly when!! but the new mayor Adams should address the issue because people die waiting for an ambulance or a fire truck or if they are in danger even a police car.. I know that midtown traffic it's horrific during rush hour, but they have to do something specific to make emergency vehicles get the right of way as fast as possible to save lives even if it means fine plus points for those drivers who don't move..

they have bike and bus lanes but they don't have emergency lanes. smh!!!!! they should have these lanes aside for emergency vehicles to get through, any cars parked will get towed !!!! so many lives lost do to emergency vehicle stuck in traffic

Awesome but sad catch!!! I ran for years in wide open country side where traffic jams (and non driving morons) only hit us once we got onto the interstate enroute to the hospitals. I always secretly wondered if there was a hidden meaning behind the brush guard they put on the front of our units 😂 Stuff like this makes my heart sick....God bless these guys and gals

Ambulance in New York City: Takes 2 minutes for 2 meters. Ambulance in Hampton County SC: Takes 7 minutes for 16 miles. It's not about distance.

Well in New York City they are very tough to move when they hear a siren, and that can cost lives and obviously something should be done about it, however there is no comparison with the hamptons, where you don't have nearly 1/10th of the traffic of New York City especially in rush hour.. I live on the other side of the Hudson in New Jersey city of Jersey City which is a pretty large city and still response time is not bad at all even if it is very trafficky because New Jersey is densely populated,,

Found myself in a similar situation a few years ago while riding a motorcycle traveling east bound on the 401 in Toronto during rush hour. I was in the outside lane & pulled over till I was right to the guard rail to give the ambulance as much room as I could, yet 20 minutes later I could still see the ambulance; there's just nowhere to pull over

The ambulance have away incase go to the person might have heart attack or asthma attack for the person go to the hospital or that person have broken bone .the people in the car,truck,bus.motorcyclc all of them should move on the side of the road or a helicopter pick that person up bring he or she go to the hospital er.
