I follow alot of Vegas content creators like norma, danvsworld, rockstar eater, dan the medic, etc, but you are definitely one of my favs. Only thing is, you’re way too nice with these restaurants and their dishes. If it’s trash, call them out, or if they are rip off! Keep up the great work!

I'm a big fan of his also but I do disagree a little bit not to argue with you I thought you made a great comment. I do feel like he's very honest with the food is not good he just does it in a nice way maybe nicer than some of the others which is true but if he doesn't like it he'll say I'm not a fan or it's just okay you can always tell when he really likes something and when he doesn't as opposed to the people that are almost the same every time. I think he does a great job!

I've very rarely had something that I thought truly tasted like trash. It's usually just not as good as it could have been but rarely, if ever, have I found something to actually taste bad. @@VegaswithShin I understand what he was trying to say to a degree. I honestly think your way of giving a "negative" opinion is the best way of doing it. If it doesn't meet your expectations, you say so, but always leave it open for "us" to decide for ourselves. If it's not a great value, you say it's a little rich for the price point in your opinion. And on the rare occassion when it totally misses the mark, you literally say it's a no for you and explain why. What I appreciate is that you do this in a manner while recapping at the end the pluses and minuses which usually always end up being good review. As a former food service employee I appreciate that tact as it doesn't slam the establishment or the staff, if they see the review, it gives them things to improve on without thinking your just after views by going on a power trip tirade. It's a refreshing change of pace in an ever increasing vlog filled world. 👍🏼👍🏼

When giving an honest review, it’s always important to be honest and truthful but it’s also never an opportunity to outright slam a place or just be outright mean because it could just be the kitchen staff or service having a bad night or it could be just an “area of improvement” - If something is bad in our videos my husband will usually say it’s “not worth the calories/price/I will not be ordering this again” or “Hey (restaurant), you may need to step it up or work on ____” there’s always a way to be honest but also not mean and we appreciate how honest you are in your videos. Thank you for being a great example to look up to when it comes to honest food reviews and we look forward to your videos every week and hope to one day be able to describe food as great as you can - keep it up Shin ❤

I wanted to comment this time because you are the first food reviewer that I started watching right at the beginning. And today for the first time I actually went back through your videos to see how you're doing and I am absolutely thrilled to see the traction you're getting. You so deserve it. Hi Shin’s parents!!!! 🖐🏻 The appetizer that you liked…. looked crazy good. The bread sticks with the sauce were kind of weird as I would have loved to dive into some warm, homemade Italian bread with a good quality olive oil and spices mixed it to dip it in. It’s disappointing that an Italian restaurant messed up the pasta cooking and way too much salt for the other food items. The ambience was nice though. Thanks for the review.

Great video and great content all around - I have to be 100% honest that when I saw the word “Tao” mentioned in your video I had some reservations about how good this place actually is… and the video definitely covered and probably made me realize that like other Tao restaurants there may be more visual dazzle and flair they are trying for than actual quality. @@VegaswithShin I have to also be honest that I haven’t been to many Tao restaurants myself when visiting Vegas but as fellow foodies and having foodie friends in our local hometown (Phoenix, AZ), we were warned by said friends that the Tao group is primarily a nightclub group first, restaurant group second, and the long story short is that they try to be “trendy” and “hip” but often either try too hard for the dazzle and flair or just miss the mark. But then again, they are in the business of entertainment and their restaurants really do seem to “wow” on social media. And at the end of the day, people do love that aspect when dining in Vegas but when it comes to “is the food good?” we definitely appreciate your honest opinions on the food and quality as fellow foodies ourselves.

Interesting menu and choice of ordered items to review. BTW - how did your parents enjoy their food? My Korean parents find these types of dishes to be too rich in flavor and usually my dad is looking at the table for some kimchi or pickled barchan to counter balance the richness.

Great review. Personally I don't go out for Italian much, I do love it, just not so much out. It always has that chef boyardee taste to me. If I do get roped into Italian, it's always a white sauce, which I didn't see any here? There was some good looking food here though not a fan of everything struggling to swim in the sauces (I think the Branzino may have drown in that). Glad to see you out with your parents! I’m kinda bummed about this one; the only closest thing to high end Italian food I’ve had in the past week I was IN Vegas was Pizza Rock at GVR(I just found out about Settebello)upon leaving the hotel, but based on this video. As for Durango, my mom did get a free room offer from them during their originally scheduled opening back in November(would’ve been cool to kick off my birthday there), but the delay changed everything. I’ll definitely be tuning in. SIDE NOTE: Hope the Fertittas decide to let the Feast Buffet return to the incoming Inspirada Station!

It's definitely better than the buffet from what I recall but I haven't been to the buffet in almost two years. I'd easily go to Luchini over the buffet if given the choice and budget not withstanding. Thanks for watching!

Always enjoyed your videos. Italian food is so one dimensional. Cheese everywhere!!! I don’t usually go to Italian for fine dining on strip. Italian food is so overrated!!

after seeing the menu i had higher expectations. Geez you seemed disappointed with 3/4 of the dishes. I can't believe a dish that salty could pass the head chef. maybe an off night, but for what you spent they should offer you a comped meal for how bad that was.
