Thank you for sharing I have the question: We have different devices for deprogramming of muscles (for relaxation), how I can choice between: - Lucia jig -kois deprogrammer -anterior deprogrammer What is best option? & if patient have TMJ issue or bruxism or clenching can change the above options Regard

They all operate the same way and have the same impact on muscles, joints etc. The difference is how they are relined and fit, and the retention. The anterior bite stop in this video I would not have a patient sleep in, and they can not use long term. If I needed a temporary device for sleeping I would use a Quicksplint. As soon as you reline with acrylic or have a device that does not use silicone, it goes to true anterior only appliance therapy, and risks have to be managed and the patient followed post op. So a temporary anterior only device is used diagnostically or as a temporary device for relief of acute issues. and anything long term is a true appliance for therapeutic use but requires much more patient and device management.

Lee Ann Brady So from your explanation, I can conclude that: Patient with acute symptoms can start with Lucia jig in office just to diagnosis. If signs still I can use anterior programmer but for a short time to avoid teeth movement? So kois deprogrammer the choice for an extended period till the symptoms relieved?

Thats not a lucia jig fabrication the... subject should be changed to modified lucia jig, or sitting a prefabricated lucia jig 🤦🏻🤷
