Please react to the song "Caruso" sung by Luciano Pavarotti. The writer of this song, Lucio Dalla (from Bologna, northern Italy), wrote this while staying in one of the rooms where Enrico Caruso, former famous tenor (From Neaples, southern Italy), spent the final days of his life. Caruso was 48-years-old when he died, and a few years before Caruso died, he married Dorothy Park Benjamin who was 20 years younger. They had a baby girl they named Gloria. Lucio Dalla wrote this song while imagining how Caruso, who knew he was dying, would have said goodbye to his young wife - the love of his life. Fun Fact: in sicilian dialect the word caruso means ragazzo in italian and boy in english.

Glad that Pavarotti changed his mine on mixed genres with opera. He frowned on it when Freddie Mercury and Caballe Maserati joined together . I quess when he saw that it open a whole new fans of young people to the genre he changed his mind. Not to mention how many opera singers love rock an roll. Good for him because he raised millions of dollars for charity.

When I hear Luciano Pavarotti sing I get this amazing wave of tingling, yeah goose bumps. James Brown does it to me too and more intensely. He's got the same accent as Mom! In the soul from my head, to fingers, kneecaps and toes! Wow! I FEEL GOOD 😊 Soundtrack playing with the horns ...

Pavarotti: Man chases power but he doesn't know that the great limit has to be how it will be done. In the palm he holds an idea who does not live, that in his fantasy… he wanted if you don't notice that then nothing makes sense anymore if one lives only for oneself. ------------------------------------------------------------------ It's a Man's Man's Man's World lyrics Artist: Luciano Pavarotti •Featuring artist: James Brown Album: Pavarotti & Friends Brown: This is a man's world, this is a man's world and But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing, nothing Without a woman or a girl You see, man made the cars To take us over the road Man made the trains To carry heavy loads Man made electric lights To take us out of the dark And man made the boat for the water, Like my bible says Noah made the ark This is a man's world But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing, nothing Without a woman or a girl Pavarotti: L'uomo rincorre il potere ma lui non sa che il grande limite ha da essere come si fará. Nel palmo stringe un ‘idea che non vive, che nella sua fantasia… volle se non si accorge che poi nulla ha piú senso se si vive solo per sé. Brown: Man thinks about a little bitty baby girl And a baby boy Man makes then happy Because man makes them toys And after man made other things he can Man makes liras, pesos, dollars, rupees To buy for every good woman and every man This is a man's world, Pavarotti: Nulla ha piú senso se si vive solo per sé. Brown: But it wouldn't be nothing, Without a woman or a girl. Pavarotti: Solo per sé. Brown: He's lost in the wilderness, He's lost in bitterness. Pavarotti: Se non si accorge che poi nulla ha piú senso se si vive solo per sé, solo per sé, per sé. Brown: This is a man's world, yeah.

James Brown! Wow! Just named my cat Pavarotti! He's a Tuxedo Tabby Angora mix. But his voice! He has an amazingly loud MEOW! Anyone who hears him is amazed. He dresses well! But his rumbling purr is so comforting!!! Think I'll call him Loui Loui so as to not offend his namesake; after all he's a feral!

Pavarotti's verse translated. I hope most of it is right: Man runs the power but doesn't know great limits has to be how it will be done In his palm he holds an idea that doesn't live in his imagination… he wanted If you don't notice that then nothing makes sense in you live only for yourself
