*Use headphones*
Listen to this audio AS YOU FALL ASLEEP, and after you have developed the habit of performing constant 'reality checks'. Remember, this is a tool, and not a magic formula. ;)
Headphones required for binaural beats to work
This lucid dreaming induction is a variation of the original i-dreamer. Improvements: a more gradual descending-step-sequence (alpha to delta) to induce sleep. Quieter and more frequent affirmations. Refined gamma peaks (40hz).
The first 65 minutes will entrain you to a deep delta sleep using a descending binaural frequency + various water sfx. The remainder consists of a low-theta wave to help transit your mind into REM sleep. During this segment I have recorded various affirmations to help trigger a lucid state:
"You are dreaming"
"Do a reality check"
"This is a dream"
"You are taking control of your dream"
Within the theta-wave are various 4-5 second long peaks peak at 40 Hz. ("...an EEG machine recorded frequencies in the 40 Hz range in lucid dreamers enjoying a bit of conscious REM...")

*A book full of practical good sense and **manifestation.guide** very much a life-saver for me right now. I have been practicing mindfulness for some time now, but this book really gives you a shot in the arm in terms of keeping up with practice and understanding all the psychological and physiological benefits available to you just by sitting still for a little while. Thank you.*

If you get too excited when you realize you are lucid dreaming, it can end up either making you wake up or ending the dream and eliminating the lucidity. It has happened to me a few times as well. If you feel the dream starting to fade, try looking at your hands, or spinning around. It helps to make the dream feel more real.

Training + practice + patience + determination = astral projection. Tips: Use binaural beats like this(but Theta waves), Head pointing north helps some people, relax, and stay away from distractions, Turn off the lights, and meditate into a state of deep relaxation. Focus on the space in front of your eyelids, once focused, "move" that space above your head and "pull vibrations down", once the vibrations have been through your entire body, you can try leaving it.

Dreams are a way for the unconscious mind to communicate with the conscious. Get your mind in the right place before experimenting with your dreaming. Consciously think about it before you go to sleep. A trick is to look at your hands before you go to sleep and then when you are dreaming and start to realize you are dreaming, try to look at your hands. I never was able to actually see my hands but this would make me realize I was dreaming and from there I would be able to become fully lucid. It started off where I would float really high in the air then come back down... eventually I was able to fly off into space and even reach light speed. Best dream I've ever had and I was fully aware it was a dream. Since then I've lost the ability to become fully lucid and now I wake up again once I realize I'm dreaming. It takes conscious effort and practice but it's worth it. To those experiencing disturbing dreams or even sleep paralysis (which I too suffer from) try to overcome the fear. When paralyzed try concentrating on one body part and try to wiggle or move it. This usually snaps you out of it. The demons aren't really there. It is a product of your mind. SP is related to lucid dreaming imo. You're almost there. Don't be afraid of the unknown, explore it.

I had an incredible dream! In fact, it felt like I was in a parallel dimension. Because the feeling of being awake was real and I knew I was dreaming. I spent a week hearing the audio about an hour before bedtime, and went to sleep listening it too. At first I noticed a change of pattern of my dreams, the colors were all changed, people were red, blue, the colorswere far more intense. I did not do any exercise to check the reality. After a week I had my first lucid dream. It was incredible, I lived the experience of flying, I gave the command will now fly, and flew, crossing walls, ok, I played to have superpowers and was super. But what I found most amazing is the perception of being in another dimension and not in a dream, because you know that you are sleeping, but you can comand your mind to create everything, and that becomes your reality. My third dream I remember jumping for joy, I thought wow what I will manifest here, and according to what I was thinking it was becoming reality and changing, I remember getting so excited that i could create all i wanted that I said I will never walked away from that dimension, then I woke up. I could not believe it, my brain woke me up when I said I wanted to stay there forever!

For all you beginners who are scared, don't be. I have been learning more about this and peoples bad experiences and it scared me too, but I tried it last night, and It took me until 4 am to actually do it, but when I did it was great. Before you go to bed, stare at your palms and tell yourself in your head 'if I see my hands tonight, I'll realize I'm dreaming.' I woke up in sleep paralysis, and got really scared, but I closed my eyes, terrified of what I might see because of all the bad stories i read, and I almost forgot to breathe, and remembered it was a part of sleep paralysis, so I opened my eyes and looked down, I saw my hand and got this really intense feeling, then it turned almost into a kaleidoscope and I knew that my sleep paralysis was over and I could move. I got so excited I screamed 'yes!' And woke myself up. Even though it was so short it was probably the coolest thing I've ever done. Don't be scared of it, no one was more scared of doing this and encountering sleep paralysis than me, but you have to remember its a dream and nothing can hurt you, and when you figure that out you can do whatever

Since I stopped smoking weed, my dreams have become extremely vivid, which I read is due to the fact that your brain is compensating for the lack of REM-sleep you had while sleeping high (more deep sleep), so adding this to that should be interesting.

except... you still have rem sleep on marijuana. It's just one does not remember. It still happens.
@raz0rcarich99

SephCat74 The amount of REM-sleep is reduced as you spend more time in deep sleep, but you still go through REM-sleep, just quicker :). You pretty much only remember your dreams if you wake up during one, which means that weed just lowers your chances, but it doesn't mean you stop dreaming though. I'm a frequent dreamer while I'm smoking aswell.

yah mate, I do agree that weed does hinder dream recall, just wanted to say it's not 100% blockage. So it's like trade off I guess. You wanna explore awake? = I smoke. Explore while sleep? = I don't smoke.

Then i am looking up on the left on the wall in front of me thinking "whoa..what...where am i? is this real....??" Then i snap out of it and see the blank created by my closed eyelids. It was so real that i got scared-confused-excited. Now that i know this works i am going back to bed and practice remaing calm and aware.

I had this cool lucid dream yesterday, I found myself in my kitchen but my house looked a little different, before I went to sleep I said to myself the whole I'm gonna lucid dream thing, and I've kept doing reality checks a lot just by counting my fingers, like It's not about how your fingers look or feel, it's about the act of looking at your hands to check if your awake or asleep, sure enough when I was in this kitchen I counted my fingers and my whole vision went kinda dark then I STARTED FLOATING IN THE AIR DOING SPINS LOL, I couldn't control it but the moment I realized I was dreaming I just started floating haha, it was pretty fun and cool, but I eventually woke myself up by thinking to much about it, but I think it was mostly cause my nose was all stuffed and it was annoying me.

I was nearly sound asleep when I heard the voice in the video talking. I know it's meant to help you realize you're dreaming and it's telling you to take control of it. But it was so sudden. Guess it's my bad for having the volume up so high. I got so scared that I didn't want to sleep in silence, so I put on some music from my playlist and fell asleep. But if it's any consolation, it induced me enough that I actually had a lucid dream. I could see clearly, I could smell everything, I could hear my own thoughts, etc. So yeah.

I had a dream that we were on a cruise when suddenly everything shut down and the lady forced everyone to getout of the boat and we were all on the beach (which was unusually full of people) and the water level was decreasing fast and there was less water and I got separated from my family and met a group of different origin girls who all told me they have been trapped there for months and the lady wouldnt let them leave and the same will happen to me. I woke up shortly.

BangGoesThePistol, your dream is a reflection of a very real component to escaping, whether through the dreamscape or AP. Based on your dream alone, I imagine you have either not lucid dreamed before (or at least deliberately) and almost certainly have not projected -- correct? As many have mentioned in the comments, there is an element of "fear" which individuals must overcome before lucid dreaming or AP-ing... Most folks either a) do accept it as real; b) recognize it's not and wake themselves up in the process. But for certain individuals, they can "ride the wave" (literally, the brain wave frequency), YET still not 'release'/overcome the fear.... It IS an Island... Alone yet with others who are also alone and convinced you will not be able to escape that phase. The trick is to USE THIS, that moment, like an alarm clock to remind you "I remember this feeling, that means i'm dreaming and it's time to control it!" The longer you are on the island, more likely you will be to never get off --- but the lady keeping you there, while she doesn't WANT you to get off, has no control that you do not give her. She is the gate keeper, eternally trapped as close to the next world as possible without being able to cross into it.... but the gate she keeps is only as real as we recognize it to be...... I know that all sounds far out, but I hope it helps -- because anyone who has REALLY floated off especially, knows that the planes beyond have their share of deceit along the way.

Okay, in this video, around 1:12:00, there is a faint voice that exclaims, "This, is a dream." I was on the edge between sleep and awareness, but that person talking freaked me the fuck out! I instantly awoke, and thought that I heard a voice inside of my head that I had no control over. Just a warning for you guys.

Woah this actually worked. I tried this video before but didn't read the description and was very skeptical at the time. When I read the description I thought "hey what the heck I'll give it another go". Once I heard the affirmations that I was asleep, I woke up. I didn't realize I was still dreaming until I noticed I was in My childhood home. Thanks for the upload Man. I feel bad for doubting this video in the first place.

I would like to share my experience. Sometimes I try to practice lucid dreaming or astral projection just for curiosity. Once I was looking at my watch for a month, wanted to do a lucid dreaming but nothing happened, so since that time I didn't try to do that again. In recent time I try to do astral projection or at least to look what happens. Once when I was doing it for a about 2 or 3 hours my heart started to beat rapidly and my breast did rise up for a few seconds, sort of alien abduction or something in me wanted to escape or steal my soul :D but I guess there were physical reasons for this, our body is not get used to be awake during sleep so there might be certain confrontations in our body. Yesterday was the highest point in my experiences, I believe my experience could help you to achieve lucid dreaming in very short time, just in a few days or even at one. So yesterday I tried to do astral projection, I was laying in bed on my back and was concentrating on my breath, I was doing it about for two or three hours, I experienced electricity runing through my body, and rapid heart beats, and it was nice to breath, because finally I became my breath, it was so easy to breath and it was so refreshing. But I didn't achieve what I wanted and changed my pose into my sleeping pose, you see I was laying on my back, but when I go to sleep I lay on my belly, so I layed on my bely and felt even more relaxed and started to get asleep and everything started to spin in my head and I got into sleep paralisis, the time I spent laying on my back and concentrating on my breath helped my to concentrate and prepare my body, so when I layed on my belly in a minute I was in a sleep paralysis and remained concentrated, then I started to visualize what I want to do, and then that visualization became my dream, when I entered into one of my rooms I suddenly realised that my room doesn't look in that way which I saw it and I realised that I am lucid dreaming and at that moment I woke up. So my advice would be, prepare your body, prepare your concentation, clear your mind, and get into your sleeping pose sort of you're going to sleep and you go to sleep with staying up inside, then when you will feel that you're going down do some visualization of what you want to do and it should become your dream. Good luck :)

Tried this one. I found myself in my livingroom. I can hear this in the dream and the living room did not look the same. It was also barely lit. I knew I was dreaming but it became more clear I was dreaming because I saw my father. He was standing in the corner staring out of some sort of window/mirror. I called to him but he ignored. My father died last September. I immediately woke up when there was a knock on the door. A very interesting experience

Ok, the reason of the Nightmares is that you people need to calm donw, if you don't know how handle it, you gonna have Nightmares, but if you know what you want, what you need, or what you have waiting for, you will be able to defeat the Nightmares of your Soul, because is'nt the Sound that gave you nightmares, is yourself...so.... Buck up, defeat your nightmare, and have a beuty Dream....

Or reiterate the fact that what you think is materialized within a dream. You think a monster is coming, it's going to come. Think it out of existence, and there it goes. I don't know what the fuck you're trying to say, the sounds are most definitely NOT the dreamer.

I first learned about lucid dreaming from a book a read years ago. Sadly, I have since forgotten the title, but it was basically about one man's adventures while dreaming lucidly. I became a little obsessed with the idea and came across something called Calea zacatechichi. I read that it was used by some shamans to essentially make their dreams more vivid and colorful. I can say that I only smoked it once (@ 2006) and the effects have never worn off. My dreams became wildly colorful and I could remember far more details than I could before. At that point, I began writing a dream journal which was no problem at all b/c I could recount my dreams with ease. This is the technique I first started using: I would lay on back back with my hands on my chest similar to the way you may see someone in a coffin (lol bear with me). I would then close my eyes and think about a room that I knew very well (i.e. your bedroom, or kitchen, or living room etc.). After concentrating on reconstructing as many details of that room as I could, my body would have fallen asleep. At that point I would try to visualize my self being in that room. From there, it was no problem to have an OBE, but I wanted to really dream lucidly. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite make it to the dream state that I needed to be in, so I got discouraged and quite trying every night. After about a month of not attempting lucid dreaming I had my first experience. I dreamt that I was in a city similar to NYC. In my waking life, I've always had dogs, and my grandfather was a breeder beagles. In this dream, every dog I had ever owned was running loose through the city. I had an intense feeling of dread b/c I felt like my dogs would be hit by cars in the downtown area we were in. I was chasing them when the police and national guard surrounded me (I felt like I had committed a crime by having all these dogs at large in the city. It's weird, but they brought out a tank and pointed the barrel directly in my face, which scared the shit out of me. Suddenly at that moment, I became aware that I was in a dream. Everything became brighter, and I felt the slightest of vibrations. I started laughing b/c I knew I was finally lucid (I have to mention that I had previously come to the conclusion that I would never be able to have a lucid dream). Now, this next part is really what I did out of pure choice in my dream. I grabbed the tank by the barrel with two hands and swung it back and forth, smashing it on the ground, hulk style, lol. After 4 or 5 good swings, I immediately awoke. The lucid portion of the dream lasted only what felt like 30 seconds in dream time which isn't long, but it was long enough to enjoy. Of course, after that experience I instantly became obsessed with lucid dreaming once again, and since that time I have had numerous lucid dreams, all of which were far more exciting and entertaining than the dream I described above. I have said all this only to say, don't give up. Everyone out there who has tried and not yet had their first lucid dream, don't give up. Condition your brain with practice and your lucid dreams will undoubtedly come, and when they do I promise it will change your life for the better. Create your reality. Hotep.

Alkebulanian Lost I forgot to add that many of my subsequent lucid dreams have been achieved without any technique at all. I have just gone to bed like normal and at some point during the night I will become lucid. I do however still use various techniques to induce my lucid dreams b/c I feel like it keeps my mind prepared and more aware during sleep, if that makes any sense.

This actually works people. Just try to remember that it is just a dream. I say this just in case you start having a waking dream. last night I was at a huge theater watching The Empire Strikes Back. I was able to move things with my mind. When I realized I was dreaming everything went pure awesome. At some point I forgot it was a dream and thought that I had woken up. That was until I started having a nightmare about a clown that could see me through the closet door. But I started hearing the beats in my head phones and was able to force my self awake. This probably will not make any sense to the uninitiated, keep a dream journal so that when you wake up you do not do what I did and forget. Awesome!

sleep paralysis is a pretty much normal part of my adult existence, yet I found that if I don't freak out and panic during the onset I end up in lucid dreamsville. I can fly around, its cool. cant control it all the way but have improved. seriously strange that it happens to a lot of people. are we special or like fetal alcohol babies maybe??

Oh, it's simple. Just lay yourself down on your back with your arms next to you. Close your eyes and take deep breaths. And most importantly: Whatever you do, DO NOT MOVE, even if you're itchy. It should work for you. Once you fall asleep, there's a chance for you to have a lucid dream. That's at least how it worked for me. Hope this helped you! :)

I listened to this years ago and didn't expirience anything until a couple of weeks later.. lucid dreaming is my most favorite thing to do, it's too good to be true but it's like I live in a whole nother world.

I was so close to having a lucid dream with this one. I realized I was dreaming but then in the dream I woke up and was like oh no I woke up! And then I wrote in my dream journal, again all in the dream haha

I am currently listening to this, I feel like I'm being pulled into millions of pieces and I also zoned out and the words starting coming closer and closer and then started to come off the screen.

very nice, you sound talented in experiencing the nature of reality. I did listen to this yesterday and I felt vibrations through my body and a total different perception of things around me. I could say I felt "water-ish", because the body is mostly water

I believe the word your looking for is "sublime" a great word if you look at the meanings, heres the definition..........sub·lime səˈblīm/ adjective 1. of such excellence, grandeur, or beauty as to inspire great admiration or awe. "Mozart's sublime piano concertos" synonyms: exalted, elevated, noble, lofty, awe-inspiring, majestic, magnificent, glorious, superb, wonderful, marvelous, splendid; More verb 1. CHEMISTRY (of a solid substance) change directly into vapor when heated, typically forming a solid deposit again on cooling. 2. archaic elevate to a high degree of moral or spiritual purity or excellence.. In other words the ability to become a gas a solid and a liquid ..Water is sublime and in tune so "water-ish" was a good word.
