When I started looking at Enstars cards for inspiration for male outfits I fell in love with Wataru. When I download the game and heard his speaking voice for the first time... I fell out of love. Eventually I got used to his EXTREMELY EXTRA way and here I am genuinely enjoying this song more than most solos!

God i love Wataru And about the song...I saw that many comments are about only one pairing I come from the JP side of the fandom where I've been a WataP for almost 8 years/since launch (!) and I've noticed that people on the western /newer side ignore all the lines he has to Anzu/mc (especially in the original lore/first game) which are literally stuff like "I'll do a performance under the night sky just for you" and even if you don't like WataAn, the fact that he's an idol and it's a song to his fans should also be fairly obvious. I understand it's not entirely their fault because the ! lore hasn't been translated but like, at least look through the voice lines? Idk. Of course WataEi are very close 👀 but that doesn't mean that he can't be close with others too as he has shown he is (Anzu, Hokke, Tomoya kunnn, the 5kijin). Wataru isn't a character you can just clearly pin down and he wouldn't like to be pinned down I think. That's the beauty of him. It's a bit weird to reduce him just to his relationship with one of these characters since he's much more than that. That's why Eichi loves him that's why Natsume, Shu and the others love him and that's why we might love him (at least me lol) Ofc nothing wrong with being a wataei fan btw it's just like. Let's appreciate all POVs :) That's kinda what the game used to be all a bout. Let's not be toxic to non shippers or other shippers or self shippers. After all, he's Our Hibiki Wataru :) So spread the amazing however you like, as long as you don't bully people! Just enjoy the song and interpret it however you like ❤
