Nandi, ya did it again. NGL after trying a few times, I was really stuck on 2 of them for how to get full points (Epic 2 and Epic 3) and this let me eek out that last chest. Thank you, now I can just farm some legendary blood and relax for the next 2 days.

he is using a dev provided build where he can play the quest in advance and set the heroes to specific levels etc. It's so all these content creators can provide these videos to the players. Nandi then obviously set the video to be published on daily reset time.

I'm new to 40k and LOVE death company so I really want this guy, but I've only played tacticus for a few weeks and don't think it'll be possible...I hit rare 1 and it's basically unwinnable with my characters being so weak

I'm having the same problem, I wouldn't get to down over it because a lot of the events require A LOT of characters with high levels to do, I got extremely lucky on my 4th or 5th +10 requisitions and got two legendarys morvenn vahl and shadowsun in the same 10 pulls and even with those two legendarys I'm still having a hard time. My advice is just focus on missions and getting shards or equipment to ascend and upgrade characters gear as well as all your dailys, join a guild if you haven't so you can start earning guild tickets and save all your Blackstone for either 10 requisitions or buying gear from the shops, you can get lucky with the shop sometimes where you can buy upgrades you need for your character you can also watch an add to refresh the shop which helps a lot too. Also don't use your requisitions until you have 10 it's not worth it to do single pulls, if there's anything you could use help with let me know and I'll try and help

For new players- I know these can be frustrating. While you may not be able to finish the event, use your tokens to farm the rarest material you can that you’ll need! The chest rewards for progression are helpful, sure - but materials are also an energy suck. Like rare metal skull or epic golden ornamental skull - every faction needs em. Even if you can up through epic/legendary with weak toons. Lucien gets buffed with the difficulty. These events come back and change all the time - and material farming makes them really worth it. I think toth had a quest awhile back - I farmed like 20 warp locus (ads for extra tokens).

I remember when I was at that stage. I can just say that you are not really missing out on that much stuff, you'll probably not unlock lucien even if you got the full 3 stars on all encounters. But I can give you some advice that you can often try to sit back with a healer and let lucien do most of the work, and since he is boosted and autolevelled he'll be pretty strong. Also keep in mind that you lose a medal if a hero dies and two if more than 1 dies, so you can take only 3 heroes into a mission with 4 or 5 spots to have better chances at making a slow win where everyone survives (usually still gives 400 points after all) and it doesn't matter if you are not fully healed anyway since you are not getting the lightning victory.

I also used to enjoy the days where I couldn't win everything, just enjoy doing what you can and use it to get free upgrades . You'll be 100 hundred percenting these things once you get a levelled healer and beefier chars

I wish they'd add a few more runs for the common/uncommon/rare levels or offer some sort of buff system for owned characters to give lower a level players a bit more to do. Aside from farming them for upgrade chances, I was done with this event in about 30 minutes.

Nope! Everyone’s roster is different, so just use this as a guide. If your characters line up, that’s great. If not, try to note the positioning and priority targets. The game is a marathon, not a sprint. You’ll get there! I’ve not hit one at 100% yet but I am getting very close thanks to guides like this.

Yeah but you can use lucien to solo most missions. if you only take the minimum 3 heroes and don't try to get a lightning victory and instead have all 3 survive you can get pretty far for free.

@@Monk1400 I would not use them for uncommons since there is a large gap in the average energy you need to spend for a rare vs uncommon upgrade, but it's definitely much more useful to farm what you need now or in the near future than in the far future. I think the recommendations for epic and legendary farming are aimed at people who have characters in that area.

The solution posted for C2 doesn't work depending on what hexes get set on fire when Vindicata attacks the bridge. She can't get through the fire to kill anything on turn 2. U3 is similar. If you don't clear the right side on turn 1 they kill Vindicata. Womp womp. These things seem to get more and more RNG.

I’ve redone common 2 with my solution and I’m not understanding where the issue is, sorry. Uncommon 3 will be messy because it’s a 5 character stage and these ones are always a case of attack and heal

When Vindicta attacks the Tyranid next to the bridge on turn 1 she can set the lower left adjacent hex on fire and if that happens she can't move where you move her on turn 2. 30% chance to set the hex on fire, seems like it would happen to a lot of players and not just me. That said, I get triggered when common stages require multiple tokens to get right and it's certainly not your fault. Love your work.
