I have to know why he was so affected by her being near him. And why did he only realize it after she started walking away? I hope they don't let this go and never explain this down the way. I know they aren't going to say the truth about Chloe right away, what she really represents, but please let it be said. I'd hate to have this show end or go on and on without ever explaining things that are essential to the story.

I do think they might touch on it in season 5 (damn I hope so). As for him turning her way as she walked away, I believe it has to do with that peculiar feeling fading away as she was leaving his side. I always assumed it was an 'initial/first' contact phenomenon. I doubt he felt that when they first meet in the pilot....

Great hipotesis from another comment. Women stands close to him and ignore him, wich don't happens to him normally, becouse everyone is affected. First glimpse of her being immune to his charm.
