You really caught how he couldn’t abandon the souls in Hell. Lucifer has grown so much. Jimmy Barnes was the perfect way for Lucifer to realize how much he could care for even the worst souls. And Rory, she became such a staple in Season 6. I love her and how the writers incorporated her into Lucifer’s story.

A lot of people speculated that Rory might be his sister or daughter when they showed her in the trailers. We just didn't know for sure. I even thought it then dismissed it as being his sister before I watched season 6.

Isn't there a plot hole in this episode? Dan said he was in hell for thousands of years right? So when Lucifer went down to hell with chloe and because time moves so fast in hell they should have been back a second later right when Dan and "The angel" got back to earth. Because Dan and her waited hours for Lucifer to come back so that means that lucifer and Chloe should have spent years down in hell together lol.

@@saranannipieri431 loool you called me out alright the truth is I’m still a bit hurt about the ending and don’t get me wrong it’s my fave show but anyway one that sticks out to me straight away was how was eve ever gonna be in hell with maze (before they decided not to go) because Chloe had amenadiels necklace but eve didn’t? So what she would have to die? And I guess the big one is the whole time travel thing tbh because lucifer easily could have visited Chloe and Rory the same way amenadiel did with Charlie and Linda because in this timeline he still made that decision to help the souls in hell and I get Rory’s explanation BUT the whole show was about free will and making your own choices and season 6 is like “ha sike it’s actually all about fate” and I hate the way people argue that lucifer chose to listen to Rory because what else was he supposed to do? He didn’t wanna leave and Chloe didn’t want him to either lol sorry I’m rambling at this point I hope what I’m saying makes sense though. At the end of the day I get where the writers were coming from because lucifer is still immortal and Chloe isn’t so I couldn’t imagine an old Chloe still being with lucifer who hasn’t aged a day it would look weird but I think I would personally rather them not address it at all and leave it open ended? I know you asked about plot holes specifically and I went on a different rant lol sorry
