Obviously Tom Ellis as Lucifer is incredible. He's absolutely perfect and in season 5 when he was playing both Lucifer and Michael, that was some of the best acting I have ever seen ... But Lauren German as Chloe is so underrated, especially seasons 4,5,6. She made me cry a solid 4 times this season. Gosh this episode I was crying after her fight with Lucifer, the way she said "I need you to take it." Then, Dan shows up at her door. Lauren stood out to me the most this season. She, as Adam once said, needs to get her talented ass away from me.

Completely agree 👍👏 She nailed it. She shows how she went crazy under the influence of rod and blade, she even had angry voice like she was turning into a beast. And later, how her voice cracks and hands shake... Bravo to this amazingly talented actress 👍👏 She overdid herself in this season 👍👏

Honestly Lauren’s job seems so much more difficult because Chloe can’t be over the top and exaggerated and obvious the way Lucifer can, Chloe’s character has to be so subtle, and yet Lauren nails it everyyyyy fknnnnn time.

This was one of my favourites episodes of this season and I cried too, Lauren is so good at emotional scenes ; you should prepare for a lot of ugly crying until the end, although I believe you've probably seen it. And you're right Adam , this season the duck belongs to the entire cast, they were always brilliant but this season they're just divine ! I love them so much

I could see the attachment to the necklace from episode 1 of this season. It reminded me to the Gollum transition in Lord of the Rings. The necklace is the ring and Chloe is Sméagol. The addiction she has to the power is kinda like the same addiction anyone had when they possessed the ring. They liked the power it gave them. I knew that’s what it was going to lead to with that fight. It’s really quite interesting though how Chloe could feel that the blade was not gone yet. But I loved what Lucifer and Dan did for her by giving her some time to talk with him. Give her some closure, and for her to feel like she can truly recover and move on and truly be happy!!

i knew something was up when Chloe was feeling so guilty, and Rory said that her mother wouldn’t tell her... it clicked. As soon as Chloe revealed she’d been hiding the blade, I felt so uneasy. when 2 people argue over 1 lethal weapon.. it becomes a fight for life or death. You could see Lucifer didn’t want to escalate the situation, but the struggle between them was bound to happen. ps I hope you never find yourself in this situation.. keep calm, try to de escalate, try to live and leave.

The only other show I know of that can make you laugh and cry like Lucifer is Buffy. Lucifer is now my 2nd fav show after Buffy the Vampire Slayer. No other shows fit in this weird multi genre category for me. I hope Lucifer ends up showing up on best shows of all time lists like Buffy does. They both have a lot of content that can be drilled into (hello Lucifer pun) and symbolism beneath the humor, drama etc,. Buffy also has amazing acting and never got real Emmys either

@@Moesie that is why i love Lucifer, no taste for good shows, i agree. I have been watching the first 6 episodes of squid game, and nowhere ever did it touch me, made me happy, made me sad. And your pathetic dozens of posts in the same reaction shows just how desperate you are. And, being the most watched show on netflix does not automatically mean it is a great show. This squid game is a poor ripoff from movies like hunger games or battle royale. Even the Saw series of movies is far above squid game

Chloe let Lucifer think that Rory stole the blade, and never apologizes. I DO NOT LIKE RORY'S whining, angtsy crap. She's 30-40 yrs old and had a loving family in Chloe & Trixie, even if Lucifer wasn't there. I hate the way she dominates this season to the expense of other characters. Nobody even considers WHAT LUCIFER IS GOING THROUGH?! He's confronted with the fact that he has a daughter, and has apparently disappeared from their lives. And how can Rory feel alone when she apparently has had a loving relationship w/her mother?! That last scene w/Chloe & Dan just kills me. And it explains why Chloe wanted/needed the necklace for its strength.
