Two days ago I watched season's finality, and loved it, you'll see some Linda but about Ella, here is my prospective:We all know is long due for them to tell ella about everything and we also know Ella's smart for god sake she works in LAPD and she has known lucifer and everything over 5 years so she would be suspected to certain thing not going to spoil but you'll see soon why is she hiding it and you'll say: that's so Ella

Ella in fact goes and talk to Amenadiel about her concerns, but Chloe and Lucifer aren't working anymore with the LAPD, som maybe Ella hadn't the opportunity to talk to them. She is a scientist and an investigator, but moreover she is a beliver, so it isn't so far fetched she runs her own investigation.

Don't be upset about Ella. She is smart, she is kind, faithful, she will be ok. She knows Lucifer, Amenadiel and Maze enough and has no bitch like Michael to manipulate her, what he did with Dan. Yes, Lucifer's growth is this season has been incredible 👍👏 But can we just appreciate Lauren's acting in this episode 👍👏. All that turn to the monster and back, this angry voice, crazy eyes and later how her voice breaks when she realized what she was doing, those shaking hands... And this scene with Dan, so emotional...🥺😓 She really nailed her role 👏👏👏

I agree about appreciating Lauren German's acting in this episode, and in general. Most of the attention usually goes to Tom Ellis because he has the flashier role and he is so extraordinarily good in it. But Lauren German is also terrific. Because she is the straight-man, the more serious character, the person who keeps the show grounded, I think people often overlook her contribution. But when she is called on to do it, she nails it every time. She is a great actress. I would love to see Lauren and Tom nominated for Emmys for this season.

I love Ella's storyline maybe you also gonna like it in next 3 episodes it is perfect for her character,I also think linda has less screentime in first half of season 6 but she has some good scenes in next half, Chloe's storyline is also my favourite because it shows her PTSD,I mean first dan died then she died too it is a lot for anyone because of all of it she felt helpless so wanted to feel powerfull

I'm being slightly vague just in case people are watching you as they watch the show- I gotta say if I remember correctly - I was initially taken aback with how they started dealing with ella's "knowing" of things - but what I realized and I'm sure you've realized by now, is that there's really a specific reason as to why she's keeping it secret and that it ends up making sense. And with Linda - from what I have gathered, the writers really didn't have much more they wanted to say about her character, so they focused on really just one specific thing about what she's doing/ who character is etc. that ends up getting dragged through the entire season because it ends up as one of the more important plot points near the end. I hope that any of this makes sense lol

Spoilers, I I believe that Amenadiel explained in a later episode that the Angels answered prayers of their own in Gods absence and with Lucifer not taking the throne. Ex. Some one wanted a pet frog and one feel from the sky.

lucifers willing to die to prove he didnt abandon his daughter this episode so I dont think theres really any reasoning thats farfetched at this point as far as why he wasnt in her life.

13:14 I think it makes alot of sense why lucifer would be defensive tho. As he has been through that he would never do that willingly, that's why he feels defensive about it. Not saying that's right but it's pretty easy to understand why he's defensive, he's being accused of the thing he hates the most.

ella didnt initially keep her revelations a secret, but noone listened, not atypical of humans who regard anything unusual as 'crazy'. ella is still collecting evidence. the board is far from complete and circumstantial. by ep 5

I felt some of the same things you did about theses first episodes. I think for this season, many of the episodes are not as individually entertaining as in some past seasons. There are lot of things that feel "off" about it. Unlike other seasons, I think this season has to be judged in its entirely, as a season arc, if that makes sense.

Agree - I think that's the price of losing the procedural aspect to it, none of the episodes can really stand alone. But it's a great season and, as Dakara notes, peak Lucifer.

Sadly I am kind of feeling the same disconnect to your Lucifer reactions that you were talking about with regards to Linda. It just seems so negative and down lately, and I feel like we are watching two completely different shows at times. And yeah... it basically just feels like you don't have the same love and enthusiasm for the show that you used to, and like the show has lost you at this point, which sucks as I was so excited to see your journey through a season that I absolutely loved. Oh well, it happens sometimes I guess. We won't all love the same thing, which is fine, so I will just have to find other reactors to share my love of this season with and hope the show might win you over again before the end.
