I watched the show in 2 weeks and now im feeling empty. It has unique humor, its dramatic, it has great actions scenes, and its also romantic. Plus they made a pretty good research about the religious stuff, sometimes it feel like under this good humor theres a deeper meaning about the devil. The choosen scenes are really beautiful and pretty emotional, but in my opinion the song shows their as a trouble and hell. Actually she is protected, loved by Lucifer. Yeah her heart mau be broken, but as it had been sung in the last episode " my love will never die" I believe their love is pure. He did not abused in any possible way. She is as special for him as he is for her. With her he is an ANGEL .

Roslan Murad I agree, although I still think that the song fits. Chloe feels like that Lucifer isnt what he is portrayed as, she sees him as an angel. (Which he actually is.) and, in the show when it’s like “please send me an angel” I see it as Chloe wanting Lucifer to see himself the way she does, an angel. If you look at it from the perspective of Chloe wanting Lucifer to see himself how she does, it definitely fits

To be fair, he actually anoyed her in the first episodes , appearing in the crime scenes , messing around and asking her to have sex with him all the time , even after she alread said no . Its a kind of abuse, although not as abusive as we expect devil to be. He is better than many man, he didnt have sex with chloe while she was drunk( this would be rape), he cares for her, and now she loves him , but at least in the first episodes, he was somewhat abusive and cruel overall.

Vivian Alves I wouldn’t describe him as abusive or cruel, you could tell he was teasing her and I doubt Chloe genuinely cared that much. Yeah, it must’ve been a little annoying, but I wouldn’t say she was abused. As for the sex thing, I believe if Chloe had actually said yes, he wouldn’t have done it. Lucifer does have respect for Chloe, even if he won’t admit it. That’s why in the first episodes he kept asking about sex, because he thought he could “get over it” although he learned that he wouldn’t do it unless she was 100% into it. Maybe his attitude was disrespectful in the first few episodes, but I wouldn’t describe it as cruel. And I just don’t think the word abusive should be thrown around lightly. He didn’t play mind games with her, nor did he actually make her do things she didn’t want to do, and he never hurt her.

I love this Song because it’s not really true but at the same time it is. She didn’t fall in love with the devil , she fell in love with the good inside him . The good that was always there, but he had pretended to be someone else because that is what people wanted him to be ,that he pushed that part of himself down. It was easier for him to act like the devil than acknowledge the mistakes that he made and actually be vulnerable . She reminded him that that part existed and that he was worthy of forgiveness and love. ❤️
