The only place the name Lucifer is mentioned is in Isaiah 14 and its actually a misnomer. The original word used in the Old Testament text of Isaiah 14 is the Hebrew word "hallel" which means "praise." Hallel is the root word for "Hallelujah" (Hallel-u-Yah) , which means "praise God." The word "Hallel" is all over the Bible but the word Lucifer is only found that one time in Isaiah and it doesn't refer to some fallen angel or even the devil.

Satan's bondage is not that one believes he is not real as Christ believed, rather it is being attached to the belief that he is real...this attachment causes all manner of manifestations that seem real to the ardent believer in Satan. Conversion disorder is a powerful neurological phenomenon in the Christian world. As a past spiritual warfare practitioner in the Pentecostal church I once thought those "manifestations" were proof that Satan was real. However, searching the Scriptures for confirming evidence showed me that I was no different than millions of other ardent believers in Satan at the time...forcing Scripture to fit my beliefs rather than lining my beliefs up with Scripture.

So when one learns the truth that Satan does not exist, that believer is found to realize that God is the only entity of supernatural power and existence. An unindoctrinated child is more willing than the staunch religionist to see that if Satan is not real, one can truly get to know their God. That person comes to know who they are to God and who God is to them without the false interference of a secondary supernatural foe that does not exist. My mom randomly said she kept hearing the name "Lucifer" when she was pregnant with me and "Michael" when with my brother. She then told me I was supposed to be a girl named "Lucy". I told that to this cute girl for some odd reason it popped in head for the very first time remembering it after she made a comment that was flirty and I gave her some advice and that's when it popped into my head and I just thought random true thing and said "But how much can you trust me" or something like that, "my mom once called me Lucifer". She then responded with her eyes shook slightly and said "I have never told anyone this but my mom said the exact same thing but that my name is actually Lilith." It also just so happened to take place on one of the few highway 666's in the US that I swore was 686 the last time I was on it.

She also at a different point told me she saw me dead on a couch for 3 weeks and that then everything changed back like nothing happened and it was as if only 2 days had passed. Not to mention my brother said he killed me at one point to which I responded "I think I would remember and I definitely do not" and said something about that same girl and I going through a portal of all things together on the beach crazily he lived on the opposite coast and just arrived in the state for the first time since I lived there and I literally had never mentioned her to anyone but my now ex fiancé. And I had a odd experience where I was choking earlier in the year and my eyes went black for a second and that same girl popped up while my eyes were closed as if she was looking down on me, again super cute just my type girl so I thought it was like temptation thoughts because I was with my fiancé but during the telling me she was dead interaction I mentioned seeing her at that point because she asked if something weird happened and she said I couldn't mention the country I was living in to her, that I lived in for 6 months but that I had to see her, who was flirting with me slightly since I tried to not engage much since again I was in a committed relationship and that I had to "give her what she wants" and also that I would forget the conversation I was having with her which I basically couldn't actively remember at all, not even once while I was still living with her for at least a month, seemingly fully alive. We ended the relationship on recommendation of a marriage counselor because it seemed the best for both of us. What a lot of Christians fail to recognize is that most Abrahamic beliefs are derived from pre-existing traditions, beliefs, and philosophies and are actually the youngest of any belief theologies. Greek/Roman Mythology in particular (which many ancient Greeks and Romans religiously believed in) which are a lot older than most until the fall of the Roman Empire which became modern Europe and thus most of everything was Christianized which is still an ongoing process today day-by-day.

+David reyes That is now bullshit from you. What to be understood by "Died for our sins" isn't that God has forgiven us for all the atrocities we had done. Before Jesus' death we were so corrupt that we lost our connection to God above us, we were mostly spiritually dead, most of us never caring to our fellow man and didn't have proper belief to the one true God anymore. Leading to us never having the metaphorical ticket to Heaven in the future. Through his death, Jesus gave us a chance of redemption as he died "sinless" and by praying through him has allowed us to reconnect with our Father in Heaven. Jesus has become the bridge to allow us to communicate to God once more. Through his resurrection, many Christians in his time died for their faith, including not all but most of his 12 Disciples. Those disciples were running away from Roman soldiers but became brave because of their faith being strengthened once more on Jesus and his father.

Many people quote books they have not read simply because they have heard the quotes from other sources. Your attempt to suggest that your words are imparted by a divine Holy Spirit and therefore must be true because you have not read a book is a very fleshly act of self-affirmation. Intimating that your words are true because you had not read the source from where they were borrowed is a classic move of a charismatic who believes he or she has been anointed to speak on behalf of Yahweh. Perhaps in humility you can reassess where your words are coming from. As for freeing people...I have accumulated many testimonies of people who have become free after realizing that to believe in Satan is an error and is actually then believing there is another God other than the One Yahweh. Those who find that there is only ONE God very soon find themselves closer to God and understanding their God better as well as understanding who they are to HIM. If one adopts the entirety of Christendom’s view on Satan then he or she is confined to a false belief that was adopted from ancient Persian concepts and now filled with mythical meaning because of the Greek and English languages. If your Satan is real then it must be Peter the Apostle...because Christ turned to Peter and said 'Get behind me Satan.’ The syntax shows no tertiary entity being spoken to rather Yeshua was speaking directly to Peter. So either your belief system must conclude that Peter is Satan according to the literal words of Christ or a Satan is something else. What is a satan according a Hebrew thinker such as Yeshua and Peter would have been? AHHH...if it is an adversary as the Hebrew language reveals then we can see why Yeshua called Peter Satan. Don't be fooled by the capital letter 'S' that was placed on the word in the bible by translators who themselves had adopted the views of mystically minded believers before them. When you speak of the names of Satan you are again subjecting yourself to tradition rather than Scriptural understanding using context and word meanings in their correct cultural context...The "evil one", the "enemy of GOD", the "wicked one", the "prince of this world", all are indicative references that speak of man's continuous effort to distort the truth of Yah. The context of those passages shows them to be about human men and human ideas and human philosophies that play on other humans. Satan just means adversary, to where lucifer means bright morning star. It is the principal of double reference. A single passage can refer to one person or event and also have another in mind. John Milton originally came up with the fable that Lucifer fell and became satan back in 1667 in his book Paradise Lost. It seems that others have come along and tried to make 3 separate scriptures sound like they're talking about the same thing, when they're not. Mormons promote this false doctrine. They believe that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers. But truly it was Jesus whom created Lucifer as all men were created by Jesus. Luciferianism today is all about ascension and humanity becoming gods. That we are gods and that there is not just one supreme God. This is a big part of the New Age movement and Theosophy. Mormons also promote this, that God was once a man and that Mormons can become gods too. All pure Luciferianism. Just as Lucifer desired to 'ascend' up from the earth into heaven and to set a throne above God and to be God, so do New Agers and Mormons. Their fate will be the same as Lucifer, king of Babylon. They will be cut down to the ground. Of course Luciferianism comes directly from satan. After all it was satan who corrupted Lucifer and led to his downfall to begin with. And so the saying is true that there is nothing new under the sun. What satan did to Lucifer all those thousands of years ago, he is doing today to New Agers and Mormons. Anyway that is how you know who is a true or false Christian. If they believe satan is Lucifer or vice versa then you know the truth is not with them. God bless! Praise Jesus. The problem with your claim here is that there actually is no context at all anywhere in the holy bible that says that a king of Babylon has the name Lucifer...( If you disagree with this then quote the verse that says Lucifer is the name of a Babylonian king ) - there isn't one.. and btw ,the one and only time the name Lucifer is mentioned in the Bible as being the morning star fallen from heaven...is where it talks about the one stated as being Lucifer with exactly the same kind of descriptions as in other parts of the Bible when referencing satan ...'cast / cut down to the ground / that old serpent / the devil / satan' etc etc . The verse about Lucifer is talking exactly the same way that other parts of the Bible describe satan as being like . And again - there is no part of the Bible anywhere that says there is a king of Babylon with the name Lucifer ...your claim has literally absolutely nothing to back it up from the actual bible

Actually Lucifer is this lady I saw this one time when I was walking by myself on the road out by my grandpa's farm. She had like sparkly rainbow colored hair and she was driving a red pickup truck and she said "See you later Billy."

actually this speaker is correct in at least this area regarding Lucifer. There is abundance of scriptures to refute the idea that Satan was an Angel or in Heaven. Not sure at all what else this speaker teaches but he is correct in this instance.

The word lucifer is derived from the Latin and should never been used in the Sacred Hebrew Scriptures! The word Heylel has nothing to do with colour in Isaiah 14 but is correctly referring to noise. ie. the noisy boaster who shines (as to stand out in a crowd) .
