I barely know their work, but these recordings can't be 1971. Everything in these 3 songs is typical of the 80s or at most late 70s. The sound, pop rock style, keyboards... even their clothes are from the 80s.

@Blackadder According to the text they returned to active duty in 1981. So maybe that explains it. The song must be from 1971, and they must have re-recorded it in an 80's outfit... even the guitarist's shirt is classic from those years.

This is a song from their 1980 album “Sneak Me In”. It is the second and last record to feature Mike Starrs, who briefly stepped in as the band’s vocalist when John Lawton joined Uriah Heep. John Lawton would return to the band to record “Mean Machine” in 1981.

The year the song was released is 1980 from the "Sneak Me In" album...not 71. That's also Mike Starrs on the vocals not John Lawton. John Lawton was a much better vocalist and the band in 71 was better instrumentally in my opinion (haha).

I can’t believe this is the same band that did Ride the Sky. This is so bland and tacky. 👎
