Everyone would have rolled their eyes and thought Luci was crazy if he said the chief of the police was a criminal mastermind. Plus, if there was anyone Dan should have been angry at, it should have been Maze, who was actually working with Cain, or Amenadiel, who got Charlotte involved in the first place.

Poor Dan. I feel for him. He was so turned out by Charlotte. They had good chemistry from the start. Also I love how Luci held him when he was going to hit him. This damn show got so much better in the last 2 episodes. Now we wait in purgatory til we find out if this is the end. Seems Apropos.

Why didn't he tell you? Well, when he originally figured it out, you were livid with him about him going off on his own and when he tried to get your assistance on revealing it, you thought he was being selfish and steadfastly refused to support his investigation. Then you did get together with Pierce and Lucifer's various neuroses got nicely mixed in with his jealousy and he did at one point indicate that Pierce was duplicitous and called him Cain which, even if we ignore that you don't believe Lucifer's metaphors, does indicate that he thinks Pierce is evil. And this is ignoring the fact that from the start, you thought that the Sinnerman was a myth So yeah, accusing Pierce without evidence that he was behind a bunch of murders that you already closed the case file on is totally something you would've accepted at face value.

Pierce you can go to hell. Also #SaveLucifer I know this show has covered up a lot of aspect with apex, like mom, dad, amenadiel lost his wings, luci and chole finally got together, charlotte death, amenadiel got back his wings, cain death, chole finally finding out the truth. And this show has done all of that without some obvious plot hols or contradictions, unlike some long running show. But I believe Lucifer can still make another great season!

Ugh I hate this scene and the writers for doing this, that’s the only thing that bothers me about this scene. Chloe does this repeatedly every time I noticed, too. Lucifer tries to tell her the truth about something and she doesn’t wanna hear it, then when that issue comes up again when it’s already screwed up, she tries to blame him. Like “why didn’t you tell me? I almost married him.” And he says would you believe me if I told you and she said yes, when really, her track record of believing Lucifer is literally 0. So when I first saw this scene I was so annoyed. Like shut up already, you never believe him. Why would you suddenly believe him in this case? Stop blaming him when sh!t goes south! 😒 Especially if we go back to every case (episode) they worked on together, didn’t she ever wonder why whenever Lucifer talks to a suspect alone all of a sudden they’re scared shitless of him afterwards? They did a good job in the first season the first few episodes she went to see Jimmy and he went nuts because of Lucifer, and when she was in the shower she was thinking about those instances between the suspects and Lucifer and then that “Desire” question, his super strength; all of it. I mean if she’s a detective she would’ve known by now without having to do real detective work. It’s very obvious at this point. Makes her entire detective position contradicting if she’s smart enough for that job but can’t put all these “coincidences” together. So annoying! 😒

She asked for cold, hard evidence and, most of the time, Lucifer couldn't give it to her. So, she chose to believe he was a weirdo with some good psychological tricks whose company she enjoyed.
