The last line of this always chokes me up. The estranged son, being confronted by a parent's failing health. That last "dad?" was so full of both love and loss.

The last song is from the 1980 musical "Les Misérables", called "I Dreamed A Dream".

My two favorite versions are by Anne Hathaway (from the recent theatrical release) and Susan Boyle’s on X Factor.

When Lucifer takes God home, the opening shot is of that ugly mermaid painting Lucifer had to buy from that artist in season 2 to help save Chloe’s life…I think this is a fun callback and I love how this represents how Lucifer always keeps his word no matter what. He agreed to buy that painting from him as if he was a “real” artist and that meant displaying it as a piece of art. I know, a very silly detail but one of the reasons I love this show. If you look, there are tiny details like this all over ❤ That scene when Dan met God was hilarious 😂 and I could see you were very worried for Dan once it clicked that he slept with God’s wife 🤭 Chloe not singing was Lauren German not wanting to sing 😂

Such a fun episode.... really liked how the songs fitted in with the storyline. Loooove Tom's version of Wicked Game ❤ Fun Fact: Chloe's twerking was Lauren's improvisation, hence Tom's surprised look...

Didn't she do stuff like that to him all the time, though? Lol

So many lovely bits in this episode. For me, Lucifer's phrase from the last song was the most heart-breaking: And still I dream she'll come to me And we will live our lives together, But there are dreams that cannot be, And there are storms we cannot weather.

Few things sweeter than Evie bopping with the music while plopping melon down the gullet!

'Has Michael anything to do with it' Well, that thought was brilliant. While watching this episode I almost forgot about Michael. But maybe your question will be answered in one of the next episodes... 🙂

Fun Fact: the controlling mother (I'll Be Watching You) was none other than Debbie Gibson, of Electric Youth fame. edit: can't wait for episode 12...

P.S. Since you've watched the series, you should watch the movie Teen Wolf, which has nothing to do with said series. It's a comedy starring Michael J. Fox, of Back to the Future fame.
