Here's a thought experiment for y'all. We are at the last episode released, thus far. Let's assume that you've now watched the entire series. Now ... You're told that Netflix wants to modify the very first (S1E1) episode by adding a new segment. You get to play a fortune teller. Chloe comes in to see you. You have no script, and have, let's say, 5 minutes with her. What do you tell her about her future and how does she react? For example: _"Chloe, I see great adventure in your future. You're going to meet a guy you think is crazy. He turns out to be the Devil, but eventually becomes God. You will quit your job at LAPD to assist him."_ And Chloe says ... ? That sort of demonstrates the *INCREDIBLE* character development needed within five years, doesn't it?

I believe that Lucifer did not automatically become God, he simply became the successor of God, to occupy his position as ruler of this universe, a kind of CEO. I believe that Lucifer would have to self-actualize himself to become God. He must accept and learn to handle his powers.

Loved your reaction, as always! I think this was pretty much all God's plan, and Lucifer was the intended successor (probably from the point where Lucifer started his "rebellion"). I think while Lucifer has the title of God, I don't think he yet has all the powers. My guess is they will develop over season 6. I can't wait for it!
