This is Deception knowledge was forbidden because of things like zodiacs certain seals and Sigil magic that Solomon openly practiced and became corrupt with it showing why knowledge should be forbidden. They are not necessarily the stories of men hundreds of years old, but instead they are about family clans ruling for 100s of years before dynasty changes
