You really went hard on the sailor V/sailor moon stuff. You even brought the mask from the manga that only sailor V wore. Sailor moon had it for like a second.

I like you mixed The OA with Nephilim lore, which I find interesting even some believers along history do consider the Enochian lore as canon, I am not as convinced but find it a compelling extrapolation.

Besides some of the unnecessary gratuitous sex in some episodes (especially 1st episode), it was really good show. I really hope it's reputation grows so they can give at least one more essential season.

The simplified version: The OA is a show about a Russian actress in an American TV show. In one timeline, she’s adopted into America as a young child and has a very difficult life because she’s blind and grossly misunderstood by her caretakers and the people around her. She’s also given antipsychotic drugs as a child, which affected her development. Regaining her sight after her seven year disappearance to find her real father, and surviving her subsequent suicide attempt, is a metaphor for her starting to remember who she really is. In the second timeline where she never left Russia, she has a charmed life of great success. It’s easier for her to jump to the third dimension on the actual set of the TV show from the Russian timeline because she can already conceptualize herself as a successful writer and actress.

There’s more conversations happening now than when it was first released. There’s something up with the year 2025. I absolutely love indie animation and this is a prime example of exactly how to start off a show: Introduce the characters and their personalities, set a base for the story to build off off, and have a scene that makes the audience get a feeling of what the general show mood will be. I really wish that this show wasn't canceled. It had a beautiful story and the 5 movements ARE transformative...
