Fun(?) fact: I actually was planning to save this video for later. However, in a catastrophic development, my computer totally crashed and this was literally the only file that survived it because I happened to have put it on my phone for a test run earlier and... voi la. IOW, the fact that you're seeing this video is even more lucky or unlucky than it already was, or wasn't.

I've been lucky enough to have had bicyles stolen on numerous occasions. I should definitely take up some form of pugilism! Marvellous musings. Malcolm Gladwell's book 'Outliers' is great at setting out examples of how even brilliant people had random luck on their side at the point of their major breakthrough, or else had the deck of life stacked significantly in their favour by other factors of chance.

On one hand, the universe giving someone horrible odds by having them come from nowhere or poverty at birth sucks, but from that same token, those same random odds can lead someone down a path to 180 their entire life. I'll take that over some idea of predetermined destiny.
