I live in NYC…… my next door neighbor is infested with Bedbugs……. She is mentally disabled and no one does anything to help her…….for the last 3 years…… I’ve gotten them on 3 occasions…….the last time was this past March…… Prior to that, it was in February of 2021….. I treated with crossfire. Two weeks later my wife got bit…..this was expected as to maybe the baby were coming out now….. i know that crossfire has a residual of 30 days. But I treated again with crossfire just to be safe ……. So far so good…… one last thing. With this last incident. I looked everywhere didn’t see them…. Me and my son usually see them. But not this time. However after treatment we found 10 dead ones. From all stages of life. I keep crossfire handy because of my neighbor……. I also have temprid……. I went to her apartment and did a sporadic treatment with temprid in her apartment. Just to keep them at bay from coming to mine ….. I have two separate containers. One for crossfire for me….. and a temprid for when ever she lets me in to her apartment….. btw…….she is also a hoarder…… her apartment is flooded with junk. Jason, I have all that you told us to get! We are ready to do this thing!! We have encasements on both box spring and mattress. Ugh!!! I know it’s full of bedbugs. I’ve been watching your videos to muster the courage to start on the mattress. I’ll vacuum the I side of the encasement first, take it off then throw it into a trash bag. The vacuum all around and in the mattress crevices, then spray Crossfire. Put the mattress aside then start on the box spring. Ugh!!! They are coming from inside the encasement. It’s terrible!! We have a queen bed and a metal frame with no head or foot board. So we’ll do the same with that. I’m just nervous we’ll do it wrong. Thank you for your DIY instructions. You give me courage. ♥️

I’m a nurse in a hospital and see a lot of bed bugs. I’m like you, I was always very careful and never infected my own home. I am currently in Cairo, Egypt to visit family. I have stayed in the same airbnb for years with no issues. This time the place had bed bugs. We were there a week before we really realized they were there. We moved out and the only thing I know to do is to leave all our things in my son in laws car in trash bags to cook the little shits to death. It is very hot here and has been in the mid to high 90’s. Most people have washers but no dryers in Egypt. So, This was my only option. Your thoughts? I have read a car sitting in full sun in high heat will kill them. Thanks for all the great info. Because of you I do have a plan for when I get home but I don’t want to spread hells helpers all over Egypt infecting others!

It really hurt my feelings that you weren't answered. I hope everything worked out for you! I did the same thing and put my stuff I couldn't launder into my hot car and I bought a thermometer to make sure it got hot enough, it worked!! And so much more fit than in a dryer.

I love when bugs think theyre coming home safely with me lol! But sir, Ive learned to always wear a disposable tyvek suit with the booties and hoody attached to it to pretty much eliminate the possibility of bringing bedbugs home! Theyre pretty inexpensive, and uber protective vs bringing them home, in the work truck, or to another customers house! Good luck! Love the channel!

Dear dear Jason, I know you get lots of questions and you are so very kind to answer. I put on mattress and box spring encasements before I found your videos. I sprayed encasements with Crossfire but then I found your video not to use them. 73 and moving a king size mattress and box springs is almost impossible for me. Do I NEED to take off the encasements? Been 8 days since Crossfire on my couch and just now fat and sassy bugs on it. Is that normal?

You can wait and see with the mattress encasements. It is normal to find bugs even up to 3 weeks after treatment because of hatch cycles

Well those little bastards got me too and we both had too get treatment kit .also used mayonnaise all over hair and let sit for several hours then rinse really good then white vinegar wash . Seemed too really work for her and me. I get itchy thinking about it .

Oh one more question, do you recommend cimexa? And if so how should I apply it alongside crossfire or any other chemicals? Before or after the initial chemical treatment? Also do you put fresh fitted sheets on a crossfire treated mattress or do you sleep directly on the treated mattress with no fitted sheet?

I don’t use cimexa. I use fitted sheets but not encasements. Bed bugs still will come into contact with crossfire even with a fitted sheet

sea I’m dealing with this now and I can’t find the source of them. It’s driving me mad, I don’t sleep anymore at night cause i’m just so afraid of waking up to them and i’m afraid nothing is going to work. I just treated my car with crossfire aerosole at work-no smell and still have plenty left to use. I only did the 2 front seats where I sit, I will vacuum the back seat and back area after I empty it today then spray the back tomorrow or wed. I know I am almost at the end of this fight. Good videos. and DE does NOT work. Found out hard way. Cimexa is what works.

My bites started this past weekend when summer time stared, I been noticing a few bites every morning and thought nothing of it till I started getting a few bites for 7 days straight. What’s wierd is that my wife hasn’t gotten bitten once, it’s only biting me every morning when I wake up I get itchy! I have checked our mattresses for 2 days with a flashlight on every crevice and the mattress boards, have not seen a single thing. I do have a memory foam mattress on top and the bottom one is just a regular queen size mattress, I just got a encasement for the bottom mattress. The battle continues for me till I find the source

I first saw a bedbug in late November of 2021. It was on one of our living room couches. We had a pest control guy come in and he looked around and didn’t find anything. We figured we would just see if it escalates a bit and go from there. We saw and killed a couple more over the next month or so, all of them in the living room (where my mom sleeps on a couch btw). Then we went about 4 months with no reported sightings. I didn’t think they would just go away, but i did honestly let my guard down a bit. Just recently though, I killed one in a different room downstairs, and apparently my dad found a whole bunch in/around his bed. Now that they’re confirmed upstairs I’m a little more on edge, and I’m just waiting to find one in my room. I killed another one downstairs tonight, so it seems like it’s picking up. I guess my main question is, how likely is it that they will find their way from my dad’s room to mine? I think I’m one more bug away from forcing my parents to do something. They don’t quite seem to understand how bad this can/will get, especially my mom. She just doesn’t seem to give a shit even though she sleeps at ground zero. I at least think we need to have a guy come take another look. PS: Our upstairs bedrooms are quite cluttered and messy, which I know isn’t ideal for this situation. It’s something we’re gonna have to address if we wanna fix this, but it’s gonna take a lot of work just getting my parents to actually do anything. We’re the kind of family that procrastinates and lets it get so bad to the point where we just have to do whatever ridiculous expensive option there is rather than stop it early.

When you spoke of bringing them home with so few left in the house that highly concerns me. What do you feel the odd are of bringing bed bugs back out of somewhere like that if your shoes are uncovered and you sit on a wooden chair as I did in my parent's home (they are getting some results from the third professional they have hired...finally). My second question is what do as a preventative? I am trying to watch all of you videos on it. Can you link me to your prevention DIY video if you have one? We also know another couple who has had them two years as well. Covid and bedbugs that is a living hell. I told them to buy Crossfire immediately and watch your videos.

About how long does it take to get rid of the bugs? I sprayed my room twice with in a 2 week time span with crossfire. Thought they were gone but when we slept in that room my daughter got bit and found one on my pillow. Currently sleeping in another to scared to sleep in the room with bed bugs.
