Half the points weren't lucky. The players meant to do it like the Medvedev block. The reflexes in the net and the dropshot by Kachanov. I've done that exact same drop shot several times(of course i missed too but its doable and that's the point).

There are a number of these shots that are not luck. Some were just that's how good these pros are. A few were instinctual reflex and again, athletes at this level do have better reflexes. The shots that hit the net are indeed luck but it usually cuts both ways and evens out over the course of a match. Then there are the shots on which I just said, "That's not luck; that's Federer."

That's called greatness.. Post 2014,he declined due to his age though he showed occasional brilliance in few matches.. When u grow older, u make hell a lot of wrong decisions in crucial moments than wen u were at prime.. Tell me which young player is challenging Novak now?? If novak was that talented he should have dominated Roger until 2010 but that was not the case.. Post Novak's dominance, the h2h was in his favour .. One player slowing down and other using that to his advantage is a pretty common sight in any sport.. For rafa's case, ask rafa fans and not me.. BTW Novak still has only 1 slam in French and had to beat rafa in one of his worst years😂😂
