Compact engines can be gotten as loot rarely, but the easier way is the wrench repairable minibikes, cement mixers, or table saws. You will need to upgrade the Blacksmith's Forge to Tier 2 to be able to make Steel Plates from the Steel you can now make in the Furnace. Awesome find on the Gas schematic. Now you need a Chemistry Table Tier 2 to make the gas.

The lawn chairs scrap down to military fiber which is required a lot when upgrading armour and most everything later as well as testosterone for all weapons to upgrade to I think up to level A & S (1& 3 star).

Table saws are at several construction sites like houses, the housing subdivision and skyscraper.

Most construction area have cement mixer and or table saw, both have chance of dropping small engines as well as mini bikes. I have also pulled all sizes of engines from any vehicles like small, mini, motorcycle, car and truck of course this is a very small chance.

I need to scope out some new POIs and try to find a construction area in that case!

I create 200 hair pins and just keep putting points in lock picking and spam auto pick. At near max it level it picks all locks in 1 or 2 times mostly. And the are a lot cheaper then lock picks.

I think in the newest version of the mod, the recycling station needs to be powered for it to work (not 100% sure though). so you probably might wanna reconsider.

Check construction sites for table saws as well. You should also be able to (have a chance) to find compact engines in broken cement mixers.

@@PriMate There are a few types, from small single houses to 5 or 6 house multi-building, yet single POIs to large building POIs (like you mention). You shouldn't have too much trouble finding at least a couple of them.

Hey Primate l started playing this Mod with my mate and finding I'm enjoying the grind of all the items needed to make the workbenches makes the game last longer than vanilla

Hey Angel! Ah nice, sounds like you are enjoying it! Yeah the benches give you more to focus on and aim for I feel. Come day 16 in vanilla a have tier 4/5 of everything and a big old, self made base, along with motorbike and auger. In this mod I'm still living off of boxes on a roof 😂

Over 20k I believe. Treasures and timed charges to open. Timed charges are on of the 1st things I researched
