This is the story of Idrees Biryani. Abubakr, the owner of the shop told us that this forfathers used to work for the Royal Family of Lucknow back in the day. About a 100 years ago the family moved out and started selling biryani on the streets of Lucknow.
Today Idrees' Biryani is a favorite among the locals, so much so that it sells in Quintals not kilos.
