Preston Garvey was resting in his armchair, waiting for the Sole Survivor to return so he could pester her about more settlements in trouble. All this "work" had made him tired and bored. Nothing interesting was happening for a long time, so it surprised him when he heard that a Lucky 38 from New Vegas was going to be built in a nearby location. So he packed his bags, took half his life savings, and went on a journey to a gambling of his lifetime. But when he arrived, he then realized he had made a grave mistake. There was a reason no one ever set foot inside that god forsaken tower. It was the home to Robert Edwin House, the self-styled President, CEO, and sole proprietor of the New Vegas Strip. However, Preston was willing to risk his life just so he could feel the rush and excitement out of gambling half his life savings, a feeling that he hasn't felt in years. So he snuck inside with caution. As he looked around he noticed 2 securitrons in the area. He knew if he were to use that slot machine, it would alert those robots for sure. So he pulled out his laser musket, and with perfect precision and aim, he managed to take out the 2 securitrons. Preston having eliminated everything that could potentially spoil his fun time, ran over to the slot machines. Stumbling and mumbling due to sheer excitement, he dropped most of the caps, except 1. He saw this as a sign, a symbol of good luck. He knew that this cap was to win him the jackpot of a lifetime. So as he looked for a cap slot in the machine, the sad truth began to sink in. It was not a slot machine, in fact, it was about computer terminal! As Preston looked around, his dreams of experiencing a rush of a lifetime were crushed. He left the building not with a face of joy, but a face of defeat. The Sole Survivor came back, only to find Preston sulking in his bed. When asked why he was crying, he simply answered; "Shouldn't you be rescuing a settlement right about now?"

when you added the red and black wall panels i don't know why but it had a big effect, i also loved how you got the actual securitrons from fo3. Great creativity by using the terminals and smaller pool tables for slot machines and blackjack tables. also the metal structure for the pillars that was great. seeing Boston from the penthouse is beautiful. for the entrance sign i think having wasteland workshops neon light behind the text 'lucky' so it gives it that background glow and the three long pillars on the roof with the balls of light on each end. this episode was amazing thank you for all the time you put into these builds for our entertainment.

With the creation kit, I expect this will be just the tip of the iceberg. I can easily imagine one day someone manages a total conversion of the Boston area to the Mojave desert. New Vegas had so many great ideas and places that I would love to see them in the beautiful FO4 engine.

Great video! It's obvious the amount of work put in. I think your creativity with the billiard table and statue were excellent. The first room with the bar's and tables was amazing but I wish you would have just spent slightly more time showing some nice shots of the room, just some still shots where the lighting or furniture look really good. If anything, you could put a combination of nice shots of all parts of the Lucky 38 at the end or beginning of the video. Once again, great vid!

I know these videos are old, and I don’t think you do fallout 4 videos anymore, but that being said I loved these videos, and if I recall it’s basically what made your channel really get on the map! So I would like to see a throwback video, where you do a recreation build again. And I would love to see you build vault 21! From fallout new Vegas! Hey final render I have a few suggestions 1. Whenever you say it looks like Lucky 38 maybe show a image on the side of what that same part looked like so the viewer gets an idea. 2. Maybe make a mod list somewhere, I see you have the mods in the description but maybe if you could show all of your mods and the load order so we could get a better idea. 3. For the top floor maybe you could have used the round edges and scaled them up alot

The Lucky 38 building is the top half of a roulette wheel, specifically the spinner handle called a "turret". Apropos considering that The Mojave is revolving around the movements of New Vegas and Mr. House, with the players being the N.C.R. and Caesar's Legion. The Courier? He's the wandering bouncing ball that will decide everyone's fate. "Round and round she goes, where she stops nobody knows."

@Final Render You forgot to add two floor levels between the Casino and the Penthouse, i.e. The Cocktail Lounge and the Presidential Suite. Additionally you didn't place the Control Room or the Basement. Also in the Casino there is a roped off door next to the Cashiers room that you did not place, and in the VIP section above the Cashiers room you did not construct a system access terminal. Hate to be nit-picky, but you've done a near exact replica of Megaton. I thought you would have a closer attention to detail.

The interior looks great, shame about the exterior, and the fact that the exterior design can't physically allow for all of the interior rooms like the player home and the penthouse bar area (ie the two you didn't do) but working with what you had you did amazingly!

Hey with the securitron if you want the wheels to move just switch the torso to a vanilla robot, come out of the automatron menu, then go back in and switch back to securitron torso and it should work
