Wrong pokemon center to go to. I went to mega tokyo pokemon center at sunshine city in 2018 at 6.30am jp time and line up at least inside the building not outside in the cold.. their management is better than this.

The Ikebukuro Pokemon Center might have been a better option. I remember when my husband and I were visiting we stayed at the Sunshine City Hotel that's connected to that mall and so for one of their new releases we were able to just wake up, walk into the mall, and have a spot near the front of the line. Of course even when you're in the front of the line you have those people who will push to scoop up all the new merch.

Omg how did I miss you guys, was at skytree from 6am and got the Pokémon bag they counted people at 7:30 and gave tickets at 8. The Eevee lottery can be played in places around Akihabara

That happen to us last year at Ikebukuro queued since early asked multiple people if we were in the right line and even got given a ticket. Turns out it was just a ticket to enter the store and all the tickets for Lucky bags had been given out at like 6am. The thing that is confusing is that once you have a ticket for your lucky bag you are free to leave so the queue disappears and they don't tell the people who then form a new line it's already over. Looking at some opening videos though you are really not missing much this year, some plushies and notepads.

That’s so upsetting you didn’t get any bags at the pokemon center after waiting! Was it only foreigners who didn’t get one? Good for you for not letting it ruin your whole day though! Sounds like that’s a center to avoid!

It has nothing to do with being foreigner what a stupid comment. It's just that people are getting very crazy about those pokemon fukubukuros and many people slept in front of the shop or came super early so by 6 am it was already sold out. And plenty of foreigners were in the front of the line and I'm a foreigner too and was on the last people to get one. I arrived at 6am on the line.

Given the fact that most of the problem was that they weren't told *how* to get one and the staff workers didn't bother to try to explain (There's translators for a reason, something could have been explained between their limited English and limited Japanese.) yes. It was the shop's fault. Yes, it did very much seem aimed at foreigners in this case. I get if they had just been too late and they were sold out, but that wasn't the case here. It was that no one bothered to explain to them how to get one.

It wasn’t aimed at foreigners me and my friend got there at 5:50ish we were in the front part of the line they counted people and came over to us to explain the ticket etc we had no problem at all with it

love claires accessories where I live in the UK there is only 4 left quite a lot of them closed down. I use to get goody bags with jewellery in. wished they have kuji lottery here in the UK only have money lottery or scratch cards. came a fan a while back when I happened to come a cross your videos

That's kind of a shame that no employee seems to know what's going on in too many different people telling too many different things on how it's supposed to work. And I swear I don't mean to sound rude or anything but why is it when you want to make a complaint they always act like they don't understand English. I can say that from experience because when I was a kid one time we were at a German restaurant my mom was complaining that the food was cold. Most of the employees spoke German and when management came over and she went to complain thinking that they would be due to food the lady manager acted like she didn't understand English that well and that German was all she spoke. Didn't realize at the time that my mother was German and spoke to her in their native language instead of few not-so-nice things in German and we left without eating. Different ride playing like oh I don't understand English because we were complaining about her food but there was nothing wrong with it there would have been nothing said felt like I've been sitting back there for almost 10 minutes before they brought it to our table. I think management forgot they were the one that seated us to our table and seem to understand English bespoke it okay even though she had a thick accent but when you complain that's when they want to try to pretend
