DQ is a class act! He has a good eye for quality scripts that cuts language barriers. Even in malayalam he has chosen brave attempts like Salute, one of my favorite movies. Its quite similar to Fincher's Zodiac, which is new for the average Indian audience.

Salute was a brilliant movie which went under radar .The only issue with the movie which stood out like sore thump is DQs look in it. He was alsi acting in another major project then and for continiuity reason he cud change his hairstyle and looks. S o adopted the same look for the SI character in Salute

Bro in Telugu states currently they are 4 movies running along with Bhageera two were direct Telugu films which are attaining critics appreciation for the story and screenplay third is Amaran which a biopic of an Army soldier so that was also so good and Bhageera didn’t get much hype with the trailers and huge competition from other movies also. Some times the time which a movie released also matters

I enjoyed the movie as a whole, the suspense, the reward, thrill, hero winning through tough situations, i thoroughly enjoyed as a movie. But until we thought of the closing climax and the actual climax. But i am confused in the way movie we thought we ended and the last twist. Isn’t it a moot point to discuss the director’s intent towards the end ? Two takeaways: 1. Be good, do good and don’t do such financial frauds, getting insider information and taking bet on stocks etc…because it will take you down one day. And instead be like a common man enjoying family etc..as the senior actor was saying in the end 2. You can go and do bad things like financial fraud etc…but be nice to all the people around you by distributing the wealth gained illegally, but don’t get caught, know when to stop doing bad by being smart or outsmart the people/system you are always dealing with . By showing how he gained the whole money by moving it to another country and the whole setup in advance. Or am i missing anything fundamental basic thing that other’s can perceive… So what’s the takeaway here ? Take Trivikram's movie Julayi, it is very clear in it’s intention from the beginning to the end.

The self narrative and all knowing I-am-smart man direction style is terrible execution of what could have been as interesting as farzi. The film is totally let down by the directors style... and dq just needs to get out of this hustle type criminal scamster that he’s been doing in Tamil and Malayalam forever. Someone should cast him as a sharp punk cut or bald cut villain and he would be phenomenal at it.

Probably a paid review. The movie gradually gets into a Telugu melodrama meter around the interval with illogical web series type thrills and family sentiments. I thoroughly disliked the movie for the kgf type sensibilities.

A highly overrated movie. Average watch. No great surprises in terms of twists or in the narrative. Successive scenes could be easily guessed. Drags a bit throughout. Besides, several movies have come in the past in the same genre. Mere change in the cast of locations doesn't make a movie novel ! Dulquer Salman's movies are mostly predictable as he opts for stereotyped roles. They are more influenced by Tamil and Telugu films than by Mollywood movies. A film surpassing 100 Crores in terms of gross collection doesn't make the film a classic or good one. It's better for the fans not to trust the so-called film critics !
