Hanuman forgets his abilities after flying towards the sun in Kishkintha Kaandam. He only recollects them just before going to Sri Lanka. That could be the reason for the name

Those who haven't watched the film yet, stop watching this video. @Baradwaj - Being a senior reviewer, I believe you shouldn't have revealed details at this level, since even the director/writer wanted audience to see the movie with a clean mind. Asifs acting while replying to his brother in laws call while traveling in the car around the climax of the movie is the best acting I have ever seen recently in any malayalam movie. Ayal oru real 'Nadan' ay evolve ayirikkunu finally. Simply phenomenal movie and acting.❤

🚨 🚨 🚨 Spoiler alert 🚨 🚨 🚨 . . . . . . Is there a good motive in the story that Ajayan had to hide the actual incident of their family from his newly married wife Aparna? Or is it just the motive of the screenplay to hide it from Aparna to create an experience of unravelling the mystery through Aparna to make her role get some good share of meat? Second case means its a manipulated screenplay which is not a flaw but mean a little forcefulness. If they had to give good amount of portions to Aparna they could have kept her as a character outside the family like an investigation officer and design the plot accordingly. Having said all this, the movie is still one of the best of recent times.

@@rasakumar3850No it's pretty organic I would say. There's a clear motive , what Ajayan did, though inadvertently is a crime . So he had to hide it , but selfish on his part to not disclose it to his new partner. But circumstances I would say was not conducive to open up his feelings. So an insider finding unraveling the mystery gives more layers and emotional complexities. Appu pillai did what he had only to save his son.

@ Appu pillai part is perfect. When I personally reflect on Ajayan’s ‘not disclosing the past with his new partner’ part, I felt it would someday create big problems in their relationship sooner or later. Hiding this much big thing from our partner will create a lot of big problems in future is my belief.

Partly no. Madurai had only ARM and Kondal released but hearing about KishkindhaGandam they suddenly added the movie from Sunday onwards which is new for a city like Madurai.

I loved the movie too. However, if I am just nitpicking I found a few similarities between the plot points of this movie and aarkariyaam. A rigid old man who is a widower. A son/daughter who is married twice. A missing person who is actually dead and the secret only the old man knows. Also I think rather than Asif Alis character confessing what happened, it would have been better if Aparna finds it out by herself.

You don’t get to set 'boundaries' for someone else’s expression when you don’t even trust your own judgment to take a risk on a movie. If you can’t make a decision without a review, then maybe you shouldn’t be correcting the very people you depend on.!!!

You may call it 'respecting' their view, but if you can't make a choice without it, that’s dependence. As for your point about revealing plot details, that’s entirely subjective. What you consider a spoiler might not be the same for someone else. A reviewer’s job is to offer their take on the movie, which can include plot points that they feel are essential to explaining their perspective. It’s up to you, as a viewer, to choose whether or not to engage with reviews beforehand. There’s no universal rule that limits how a reviewer should express themselves, and trying to impose one just because you’re worried about hearing spoilers is a personal issue, not a problem with the reviewer..

Drishyam and kishkinda kaandam are common only in the crime thriller part. But way different in other areas. Dhrishyam shows the crime properly to the audience in the beginning itself. Dhrishyam is about how the family comes out of the cops radar. Kishkinda Kaandam is about a proper mystery unravelling layer by layer till the very end. Not really right to compare them.
