I love how Joshua Gawel plays awesome trumpet then shuffles into the corner ~ then shuffles back up to play some more awesome trumpet. His body gestures make it for me . . . He also makes it look & sound so easy but if you play you know that's not the case! That's serious years of practice.

Just saw them this Sunday, Jan 12th, at the exact same spot -34th street station- doing their thing. People kept going down that same escalator staring at them, lots of fun, and they had so much fun playing, that by itself was fun to watch! I love my NYC!

I'm so lucky I got to see them live! They were in St. Louis, the opening act for Gogol Bordello. I think that was the one and only time they have ever been in St. Louis and I don't know if they will ever come back, their current tour is in Europe so I think they play much bigger venues than The Lou. So, again. I consider myself extremely lucky I got to see them!!!!

It must be tough as the drummer in this group. You gotta keep the volume controlled but you must be wanting to rock out like crazy the whole time. The guy has some real situational skills, has all the right energy at just the right volume and that can be really tough to pull off. Well played, that guy. Also tuba guy is on another level. Solid. Solid as a rock 🥰 Overall this is God tier stuff. This has inspired me to give busking a go.
