33:00 -- Those claws need slightly thinner spacers/washers so it can close a just smidge more. It's just scummy set like that, because even on payout, it can't pick up the prize anyway.

It's adjustable by moving the ring that holds the claw assembly in place. Just takes an allen key. And yeah I agree 🤣

what do you like about the chinese claws / mini claws? if you built your own arcade what machines would you get?

The mini Chinese claws are more fun to play than full size ones, despite not being great. If I opened my own arcade I would prefer to use older machines like megas and toppers or even old instance machines

@@BRIGHTAttraction what would make the mini claws better? i operate an arcade game business and would be interested to know what makes a good machine in your opinion. the older machines aren’t as modern or good looking so i wouldn’t want to get them

@@meganharris4751 It's a quality problem. Chinese made machines built to a low standard of quality won't last nearly as long as older machines. Or even European manufactured equivalents such as machines from Elaut, OMVending, or Losud.

Would it be better, do you think, if the payout was random as opposed to winning after a fixed number of losses?

It actually is on many processors such as Supergrab. Payout is random within a set range / percentage.

@@BRIGHTAttraction Ah, interesting. I know the Keymasters can operate on either a win/loss ratio to guarantee minimum income for the operator, or skill-based mode, if you install the notched bezels where the key just BARELY fits. You more often see it branded as a "Prize Locker" when outfitted with the notched bezels, though.

@@WarhavenSC seen and played a prize locker once before. It's pretty much impossible for normal players who are only going to have one or two plays. Part of why some pure skill games are quite problematic in my opinion. There should always be a balance in my opinion
