Take another look at the game, Leeds were not lucky to win, we took our chances, we had the same amount of chances and on target chances (15 to 16 and 4 - 5) 60% to 40% possession. Do not forget Leeds should have been out of sight at half time as Piroe gifted 2 big chances and Gnonto also did. Please do not make this game sound like Leicester were the far better, team, that is not the case, both were very good in attack and suspect in defence. Did Leicester deserve to lose, no, they did not but that is what happens if you do not take your chances. It has happened to us a lot this season.

Thanks Mate really appreciate that! Daka has annoyed me all year long and he still somehow gets love. Officiating is dreadful from top to bottom and everyone feels it week in week out. Saints are stumbling and I think Ipswich aren’t quite at the level of Leicester and Leeds (but are still ridiculously good) and so I feel we’ll be the top two come early may. His subs have been iffy all year and he doesn’t have many options at all. The difference was made by the bench, when I saw Bamford and James coming on I knew where the difference lay and that was in bench quality..

The only bit of bad luck you can rightly complain about is the disallowed goal. Leeds have lost 6 matches this season, but the only time the opposition were better was against Southampton. The other 5 matches we lost were because of not putting away chances. That is the same as Leicester on Friday. If you can't finish, you don't deserve to win

I’ve been at both games against Leicester, a very good side as the table shows. Friday night LCFC changed tactics and sat back a little, I think realising that if we were allows to hit them quickly on the transition they would be in trouble, you allowed us to have the ball and waited for it break down then broke on us. I think if we’d have taken one of our chances in the first half the game would have been slightly different, however Bamford and James change the game. Bamford and Piroe are very different forwards, Bamford occupies the centre backs a lot more and drags them all over the park, leaving space for the wingers to exploit, it’s also no coincidence that Rutter gets more time and space as soon as Bamford arrives. Leicesters subs actually weakened the side rather than strengthen them. However….as we know, had you taken your gilt edged chances, and the linesman doesn’t make the wrong decision, then we are most likely not having this conversation. I was always confident if we got one, we would bomb on and look for more and the crowd would be on it, it took 80 minutes but eventually we got there. I’m sure you will be OK though, lots of twists and turns to navigate yet for all teams. All the best mate

Here they go again. Lucky Leeds? I don`t think so. This title was given to Leeds when the great Don Revie was manager and only a handful of sides stood any chance against them, Now we have another great manager and he is heading the right way. In the first half the foxes scored one, had one disallowed for offside, and had at least two great efforts saved by Meslier, the ball was heading for the back of the net, until he pulled off two almost miraculous saves. The halftime team talk must have been very motivational, because Leeds came out and took the game to the opposition, resulting in three goals, When you win by the odd goal it is possible that you were lucky, but to hit the back of the net three times cannot possibly be classed as Luck. At the end of the day Good Football beat Leicester.

Leeds fan here. Very good game the other night. Leicester impressive especially in the top half of the field. Even first half, Leeds squandered 3 good chances. Second half is all Leicester, goal wrongly disallowed and 2 bad misses. Subs from both teams seemed to change the game, Leeds poured it on in the last 15 mins and got a bit of luck. Leicester certainly best side we’ve faced at Elland Road this season.

Even game. We probably should have had the opener, but I think the occasion rattled us and made us sloppy in places. We had a REALLY poor spell in the second half where you could've put it to bed, offside call should've been your 2nd, but you started slowing down by then. Once that equaliser went in I feel that our crowd shell-shocked your lot and that was that (my voicebox is torn hahaha). I think whoever won that game was going to be lucky AND deserve it, as far as both things can be true at once. As for how it affects the season, we're gunning for your spot now, but you shouldn't be worried. You're not dropping out of the autos regardless of who gets the formality of lifting a trophy at the end, especially now Southampton have lost the wind in their sails. As for Ipswich... eh... let's see how the next few games go before trying to predict that, but they're our worry more than yours. We'll either win the league or bottle it and finish in the playoffs at this point. All the best.

I'm a Leeds fan and I just want to point out that up until Roberts equalised both teams missed sitters and the result could have gone either way. After the equaliser I think Leicester seemed to lose belief, for Gray's goal they had all 11 players in or around the box, any shot was likely to be deflected. It was as if they wanted to hold on for a draw. While Leicester *top of the league* they are not the form team at the moment and I'm not just talking about the last 9 games, after a shaky start over the last 30 games Leeds are the form team. If I'm honest I don't care who is top of the league as long as we are promoted, it would be nice to win the title but it would be a bonus on the road

You were by far the best team to come to ER this season. You defended really well marking Rutter out for the whole of the first half. If you hadn’t made your subs you may not have lost as Archie was getting pulled all over. However, if we hadn’t made our subs we may not have won. Georgie started to play and we made our own luck. That was one of our worst performances. Summerville was never in it and he is usually our main threat but that was partly because of your defending. You shouldn’t have had a goal disallowed but also you didn’t take your chances - something we’ve been guilty of but, we fight to the end and the scoreboard never lies. 'Better team for 80 minutes' . . . comical. You started strongly but Leeds were in control from when you scored until half time, without being threatening. You were then strong for the 30mins after the break before caving. So in summary, you were stronger for 45 mins. On goal chances, we actually should have been leading by the break having 3 great chances. You then missed two absolute sitters. Our goals came from pressure and your midfield being unable to handle it. In summary, I'd say over the two games, it has been quite even. The difference that we absolutely controlled the game at Leicester once ahead but you couldn't do the same at ours. The rest of the division are of such low quality it has elevated both teams so that we will be promoted. I think we both play good football and deserve that.

I liked your assessment of the game before a ball was kicked. You go on to say we were the better team for 80 minutes but I saw this as a game of two halves. In the first half I feel Leeds should have been at least level and possibly infront, four good chances, Piroe 2, Gnonto 1 and Summerville 1. Half time Leicester lead 0-1 second half you had what turned out to be a good disallowed which most people, thought was a correct decision, including your opinion at the time. What i fine surprising is that not one Leicester player picked up on Rutter touching the ball. You then go onto miss two easy chances, then Leeds comeback into the game. The Elland Road atmosphere seem to disturb your back 4 with misplaced passes and caused panic in the Leicester ranks. You have a safety cushion of 6 points and granted there are around a dozen games left to play, you should stay at the top of the league as you are too hot to handle for most championship teams. My concerns as a Leeds fan is, at some point i suspect we will lose or draw as teams do not win every game that they play and its still three teams challenging for the second place.

If you look at the stats, it was fairly close but in terms of possession etc Leeds had the better of Leicester and obviously the stat that matters, Leeds scored 3 goals, won the game, beat Leicester for the second time this season and if your honest that will probably be by far the best atmosphere you will see this season lol

Leeds should have been leading by at the very least by two goals at HT. Yes Leicester missed chances, so did Leeds. I could be petulant and say that Leicester's goal was lucky with a near post flick on that could have gone anywhere. No footage of any of the Leeds goals, is poor by you mate.
