You'd honestly think, with Luke being such an infamous Lawman for Hire/Bounty Hunter, he'd already know about the amnesty meaning the Daltons would have wasted THEIR time by trying to trick Luke into thinking they'd escaped. Joe:"HEY, LUKE, WE ESCAPED FROM PRISON!" Luke:"Yeah, nice try, Joe, but I read the decree an hour ago, enjoy your freedom.."
