I almost feel sorry for this writer who focuses so much on specific goals. It might work in the small things, like writing a clear shopping list. But in the big picture, it is not the way forward. Things never turn out exactly as you imagined, but often things turn out better than you could dream of. Focus on systems and processes for development instead of specific goals. Meditate, read, journal, be grateful, nurture, love, be positive and grateful, etc. None of this may be something you see as an end goal, but good habits put into a system will lead to completely unpredictable wonderful results better than you could ever dream or visualize. This is so difficult to do when you’re surrounded by toxic people. I rarely get positive reinforcements but mainly the opposite, and as a result negativity has become my norm. And I don’t realise I’m doing it until somebody points it out sometimes. I’ve had so many bad experiences and just couldn’t understand why when I don’t go out of my way to be mean to people or treat people bad. I tend to get praise for being positive and my personality from others sometimes, but as soon as I am having a down day I’m treated like a bad person by everyone which I don’t understand. Because depression is usually a result of horrible circumstances. I’m unfortunately still in that bad environment, but I keep trying my hardest to be positive although it’s very hard to maintain it. I hope I’ll be in a great place one day though! I always still manage to have that little hope. 😊

I hear you and I feel you. This book was definitely brought to your attention now by your guides. This book is meant for you. Whether it's AI or a human voice, it is beautifully spoken and can be listened to often. My advice to you (if I may be permitted) is, now you've listened to this, each day/week (depending on your available time), choose a chapter that resonates with you and start to implement the tips and activities into your daily life. And praise yourself at the end of each day for the progress you've made. Don't dwell on any negatives if you haven't succeeded, just say at least I tried and I'll try again tomorrow. I understand negative people, I work in a job that brings them all to me. I smile, and am pleasant, and I've found that those people open up to me, and my positivity tends to run off on them, rather than the other way around. Don't get me wrong, sometimes it is really hard and I don't succeed. And I've still not mastered, but I try. And every morning I do a gratitude ritual; when I forget or don't have time, I notice the difference in my day. I hope this helps. I send you blessings, and I hope you find inner peace. ❤
