I recently discovered Lucky Peterson on youtube, being more familiar with names like BB King or Eric Clapton. What a talent he had! I was just telling my son to check him out on youtube when I saw all these RIP messages. I saw that he made several tours in France and am myself a French guy leaving in Michigan now. It is so sad!

I was lucky to see LUCKY in the mid 80's when he headlined our small blues association festival. Outdoor venue, less than 100 people in attendance, stage was a flatbed truck. Mr Peterson came out and set the place on FIRE with his dynamic performance. When he came offstage to play the crowd the women went wild and the men all smiled in appreciation. RIP Lucky.
