This is how it starts brah. Before long you should get used to the making your own palu, and no more seasickness hopefully. I started on a 13 ft whaler, plus I had a 9 ft. Cadet Zodiac, beginning in the 60's and 70's when I was a kid and teenager. That led to going deep sea fishing on my friends Haole sampan, and a beautiful Funai sampan, and I got super stoked on deep sea fishing!!! Later that led to moving from home on Oahu and Kauai, to kona in the mid 70's. Used to take my 13 ft. whaler out and make my dreams come true, catching all kine big fish and boat camping and diving day and nighttime just loving life!!! I ended up getting a Force 30 custom built for me to be full time commercial fishing, mostly all the rough water area's off the big island and along with a few bigger boats I fished and dove in the Leeward isles all the way up to midway island!! Over 40+ years it's been amazing, the places I've been to and found!!!! I would have loved to take you guys on a 5 day and night long fishing trip to some places I found that would blow your mind, but no cameras, except underwater, as there are places I found that I filmed underwater for national geographic and blue planet years and years ago, that I just won't expose where they are!! Tiger sharks though? Really BIG ONES!!!!! I'm a professional photographer and cinematographer and specialize in underwater work of marine mamals and sharks, and the really big tigers can sneak up and ambush you and they are really good at it!!! Just be akaMai, and know boat saftey and be careful always!!! Enjoy boys! Just go easy on showing too much shore line to keep special places on the D.L. Enjoy your videos, reminds me of doing amazing things from my early teens going for it and the big isle is so massive with so much coastline it's impossible to dive everywhere Plenty good kau kau for you and family and friends too!! The "tongue" coming out of the ehu is actually its air bladder, which all fish have to control their buoyancy. The air in it expands as the fish is quickly brought to the surface, so much that it pushes out through the fish's mouth. When sending fish to market, commercial bottom fishermen often puncture the protruding air bladder to release the air using the tip of the fish hook, causing the tissue to draw back into the fish making it look more "normal", which increases appeal to customers.
