Heck Yeah!, drill some holes in the front bumper, for better air intake for the twin turbskis!.

Those teardrop wheel wells are really making the truck look amazing!!! A lot of the older cars have great looking wheel wells on them!!!

The CV radiator fits beautifully in the opening of the 65 core support if you raise it up a couple inches. Like it was meant to be there! I crossed this bridge on my own build :) Looking great, wish I had the patience you do!

I was thinking about what you said about drilling holes in the bumper if needed for cooling. How about cutting rectangles to mimic the shape of the signal lights. That truck is going to be sweet. Love it.

Will you be doing the hockey puck trick between the cab and bed of the truck like you did on Crown Hick? That really seemed to stiffen the whole body/chassis up.

At the 0:21 mark. Is that a exhaust cutout coming from under that Ranchero's fender.? Something that you don't see very often anymore. And do I detect a little bit of a limp Lucky.? Hope everything is OK. 6=8.

I don't mean to tell a guy how to work, but you really should wear some gloves / sleeves if you are going to weld that much. I would have a heck of a sunburn if I did that.
@br549200Ай бұрын
Had a guy in our shop that did all of his welding in a tank top. His chest was as red as anything you could imagine.

I nearly daily a 2007 CVPI to keep the mileage off my 17 f250. It was a former el centro, CA fire inspectors car. 230k miles but only 320 idle hours. I’m sure it just drove around to fire scenes. I am also doing a swap like this with a 2008 former Las Vegas metro pd cruiser and a 1969 Sweptline. When tearing the 08 apart I found a lot of those little pouches to test narcotics under the trunk liner. Also found 2 pocket knives behind the wiper cowl plastic. My guess is they pulled the knives off suspects and left them on the roof then they slid down the windshield next time they hit the brakes. I’ve read that some guys find lots of strange things when tearing into the old cvpis.
