Lenny's Mod Menu and the ability to drive a car are the two i am having fun with. They both go together because you can't drive a car without spawning one (I haven't tested the car that spawns in blackwater yet)

Unlike some other KZbinrs, you do not put up a gimmicky gameplay video with nothing else but a Patreon link in the description asking for $10 just to get a ReShade preset, a Ray Tracing Shader, or a mods list. You're not supposed to install the No Intro mod this way because Reality Redemption adds an update folder. The ReShade drops my frames from 100-120 to around 20-30.

As a person who never got to experience the og rdr 1, i am actually glad that they didn't remaster it just for the sake of what should i say? eye candy experience? i really wanted to experience the game as how it was and is instead of remake or remaster of it. Now i can finally play it for the 1st time and having a blast with it. It brings me back to good old days games even though i never experienced this one before which shows how still it captures the charm of that era. Sure 50$ is a rip off but holyshit man we are in era of where pirating is just the way now, no need to sign into garbage ass launcher or anything just hit and run the pirate game if experiencing the game for the 1st time, and wait for the OBVIOUS discount that will come in future to get it officially in the steam just to maybe add it into your library folder. Really glad to experience the actual og version for the 1st time instead of some kind of remaster or something. Those work when you already have the original game on pc then remaster makes sense but when having it for the 1st time on pc? no, it should be the og one and then after that remaster will be a good thing, but not for the 1st time port of PC.

Also dont forget to turn off Vignette in the reshade menu. It removes the dark corners and makes the game look a bit brighter.

so i tried out the mods. its pretty nice... im not sure why but i can ride dogs now. the upscaled textures have strange artifacts on the dirt textures and they have these noticeable square patterns to them. the reshade looks great but not very good on the fps. im getting 90 avg and 30 with reshade. the smoke effects breaks with the reshade allowing you to see outlines of the background through the smoke. overall still pretty good! thanks for taking the time to make this video!

The ReShade is dog, took me about 10min to make my own preset like I do in every game. Doesn't require crazy effects, mostly just Vibrance, MultiLUT, LumaSharpen, FidelityFX sharpen, bit of GaussianBlur, FakeHDR, Bloom of choice and a couple of other (subtle, not cranked the f up) effects. Still waiting for actual graphic enhancing mods and proper 4k textures. Not sure about the fps hit on your end though, even with the ass preset I'm incredibly stable on a 5800X3D 6950 XT combo. It runs modded RDR2 4k 80ish avg fps (that's with fixed TAA, lots of 4k textures, vestigia and a hefty yet subtle ReShade) and I get way above 100 in RDR1.

Here's a tip regarding reshade. If you have to use a dozen shaders to achieve your effect then you are doing it wrong.

I am going to wait about 6 months to a year before buying this game. By then, the modding community will have upgraded the game beyond a full remaster and it will most likely have many of the new systems from RDR2 added to it. This game will be next level in a year due to the community.

I wanna see a mod where it brings strawberry into the game just north of Blackwater. The landscape is kinda the same when I comes to the uneven terrain across beechers home and the more flattened area near lone mill stead. Just behind the area of view does it change. Like the outfitter location and the half circle shaped valley that is where strawberry would be.

Its actually my first play of this game but I waited a few days to get a good modlist like this. This where the PC port comes into play over a vanilla emulator play. Atleast the port runs nice right out of the box which isnt a given these days regardless of price.

@@syygnis Reshade itself does nothing, it just allows for graphical changes depending on the taste of the user. Untick every effect and you'll have the original look and performance back. For what it's worth, I've seen some Reality Redemption versions on YT videos that I liked but this one isn't it - just far too much bloom, vignetting and contrast. Of course, you could always try to find different Reshade presets or do some experimentation by yourself, starting with increased colour saturation through the standard Reshade tonemapping or vibration effects.
