Hello friends. I think this is just amazing how these two women with only a small mattock and two sacks, dug the clay out and mixed it with sand and water and turned it into a stove! And the man that made the stove pipe, what craftsmanship! We all need to learn how to make these things because you never know when you will need this knowledge.

Great craftsmanship, noted the way that they made their pit fired pottery. The handmade stove pipe was also great work. It is similar to the tent stoves, as some are sturdy enough to cook on, with a tiny little stove pipe, similar to their handmade one. Their pottery stove, or even one similar made from metal, would be great for camping.

I noticed the pot was dropped down into the stove. This is the most efficient heat delivery, seldom seen. I didn't see a pot handle, meaning the pot can't be filled to the brim. The rim would need to be lifted at an angle to get fingers under.

This smokeless kitchen is one such example, there are other technologies, such as the rocket mass heater, that can offer similar benefits.

Amazing good thinking to bring the life of poor people better. The health is the primary concern for the whole family. The invention and usage of this stove with exhaust eliminating the smoke far away from near human is a gift to society free from pollution. Thirdly the people who are involved in making the stove assembly you are properly channeling their energy to good use and also the wood that will be burt will be less but optimum use of fire with less wood as the heat is augmented to the stove alone for the use of cooking. wastage of energy is a great savings. May the life of these people and society improve to a healthy living.

An idea for improvement Make a clay cylinder large enough to bake in. Harden it. Then make a rectangle 3 times the size of the cylinder. Make clay supports to place cylinder inside rectangle at the top leaving 6cm from the top. Then make smoke vent hole. Harden. You have made a baking oven and the flat top is for cooking . The space under the cylinder inside the rectangle is for wood to burn and the smoke will come out the top like in your own in this vid. So they can cook and bake mead or what ever they call it.
