Very few people defend Hamas. These attacks do not justify a genocide. This entire video is a strawman and the look on Lucy's face suggests that she knows this already. Israeli commentators are desperate to frame this as Hamas vs Israel when it isn't. It's Israel vs 2 million Gazan civilians. Hamas does not pose an existential threat to Israeli civilian life. Israel does pose an existential threat to Palestinian civilian life. To use anti-Semitism as a shield to commit genocide against a people being widely labelled 'Amalek' by your law makers and soldiers is the most anti-semitic thing I've heard since October 7th. There are more people on the Israeli side justifying and glorifying murder than the other way around.
