I think Snow’s quote, “it’s the thing that we love most that destroys us” applies to him. He felt betrayed by Lucy. And bcos of that he totally went rogue. I know he’s something else, and showing already a tendency of being a bad person, but maybe, just maybe, if Lucy stayed by his side and try to put him on the better side? You know, the line she is talking about crossing in becoming evil? What if she stayed and helped him not to evetually cross that line? Bcos Imagine, he did everything for her. But still she left him. He love her, he loves her so much that when she betrayed her it destroyed him.

See that’s a very interesting take on it but in my opinion, Snow was already turning evil even when he was with Lucy. When they got to the cabin, and he found the guns, I had a funny feeling that he was going to turn on Lucy and kill her. To be honest I wasn’t far off because Lucy could tell he was turning evil and I think she wanted to escape before he had a chance to kill her hence why she set the snake trap. Plus snow did shoot her at the end, I don’t know where, kinda looked like her stomach. Even at the cabin when Snow said something about how he killed all the snitches who could rat him out, and then lucy said apart from me and then went out into the rain and snow thought that was odd. I was like oh crap somethings about to go down here!

I think he actually did love her. Just not enough. The book was really good about telling us how he feel and what his true thoughts are about her. And he states he was in love with her deeply, but he loved power and control more.
