Later in the book, he's remembering lucy gray and a specific lyric from her song. "I told you to run, so we'd both be free". Lucy knows snow didn't feel happy with her anymore, HE wanted to go back to the capital, SHE wanted to live in freedom, the woods. She knows snakes, she knew that one wasn't venemous, she was 'Telling him to run' with the snake, so they could both be free.. Snow in the capital, Lucy gray up north. after all, "They were both too different to be together."

Someone on Twitter got access to the 4 hour cut and apparently this scene is longer and scarier like a horror movie. I hope they release the 4 hour cut to the public

@@zainabn-bx3vv I don’t unfortunately but I wish I did 🙁. The guy on Twitter said his friend worked in the entertainment industry and gave him a copy of the 4 hour cut. I don’t know if they will ever release it but if it’s all filmed and edited then they probably plan on releasing it eventually

This scene was very intense and suspenseful in both the book and film. Very well done Especially when I read this at home, I was by myself which IMO really added to the overall eeriness.

So the girl found out his boyfriend killed three and she has no choice to run away from him😢 Because she value trust more than love? So she run away from the woods and the guy tries to find her where she is and he get bit by a snake thinks it’s poison but not but never in his life betrayed like this😢 so he tries to kill her then he thought she got her but when she sings the singing was echoing in the woods about murder and the songbirds or the mockingjay or jabberjay? is singing it along and through his life his haunted by it no one knows he’s the murder unless the girl. Damn I will be like Lucy gray whenever my partner is a killer or murder or a total 🚩.I will runaway 🏃‍♂️ or the singing too😅

@@starboykevin2092i think he was hallucinating at the point he shot at her. lucy was wearing a different dress from when she was in the shed and there was no blood either. i say lucy did escape but but not known if she escaped the district
